Chapter Summaries

Kimimaro unleashed his strongest attack against Mei Terumi, but she dodged it, subdued him, and took him away. The injured Sound Four returned to Otogakure uncertain about Kirigakure’s motives, while Coulson and Yakushi Kabuto headed there to investigate.

• Kimimaro used Dance of the Seedling Fern, destroying Isabella Street and badly damaging nearby buildings as Mei Terumi evaded his attack.
• Mei Terumi knocked Kimimaro unconscious, bound him with a Water Whip, and left with Ao and Haku carrying him away.
• The Sound Four regrouped at Otogakure’s base, puzzled by the attack and Kimimaro’s abduction.
• Coulson and Yakushi Kabuto drove toward Otogakure to confirm what had caused the battle.
