Background / History

Tang San initially lives with Tang Hao in a shabby hut and tends to him devotedly. He resolves to strengthen his father and seize the Douluo Continent’s world consciousness. At his awakening, Tang San manifests Innate Full Soul Power, a red-veined Blue Silver Grass, and the Clear Sky Hammer. Tang Hao tells him to conceal the hammer behind the Blue Silver Grass and claims Tang San’s mother was an Evil Spirit Master. 37 38

He enters Notting Academy and becomes involved with Yu Xiaogang, whom he distrusts after discovering that Yu had obtained Tang Sect hidden weapons. Tang San gains his first spirit ring from a Mandala Snake, then suffers a humiliating defeat to Qian Renchuan in the contest for Dormitory Seven leadership. 44

Tang San becomes obsessed with Xiao Wu after her affection shifts to Qian Renchuan. He buys her carrots daily, neglects his health and studies, and repeatedly attempts to prove himself against stronger opponents.
