History

Qian Xunfeng's succession

Spirit Hall was already an established organization with monumental palaces when Qian Xunfeng prepared to inherit its leadership. After reporting the discovery of a Divine Throne, he received Qian Daoliu's approval to succeed him as Pope. 1 2

Qian Xunfeng was formally crowned in Spirit Hall before its elders, Platinum Bishop, and assembled Soul Masters. He accepted the Pope's Scepter and revealed a Soul Ring configuration of six black and three red rings, prompting public pledges of loyalty. 3

Expansion against the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Sect

Following the expulsion of Bibi Dong and Yu Xiaogang from Spirit City, Spirit Hall confronted the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Sect over Yu Xiaogang's alleged theft of Spirit Hall knowledge and involvement with the former Saintess. 3 4

Qian Xunfeng demanded that the sect cede 15% of its territory, pay 500 million Gold Soul Coins, and transfer half of its industries. After defeating Yu Yuanzhen, Spirit Hall also seized the Nine Dragon Crowns and established a garrison and branch hall on the sect's ancestral grounds. 5

Spirit Hall later used the sect election to reshape the Upper Three Sects, ranking the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect first, the Clear Sky Sect second, and the Elephant Armored Sect third. Yu Yuanzhen subsequently agreed that his sect would no longer oppose Spirit Hall. 10

Acquisition of the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well

Qian Xunfeng deployed a Spirit Saint Legion through Sunset Forest, offering four million Gold Soul Coins for information leading to the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well. Chrysanthemum Douluo and Ghost Douluo located the site, where Spirit Hall harvested its Immortal Herbs and stationed two Spirit Douluo as guards. 6

The herbs were distributed among Spirit Hall's worshippers and allies to improve their cultivation. Hu Yan Zhen received a Seven-Grade Purple Ganoderma and was ordered to remove the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Sect from the Upper Three Sects. 7

Spirit Realm initiative

After Qian Xunfeng's Order Divine Examination, Spirit Hall became central to the creation of the Spirit Realm: a separate world intended to replace the destructive hunting of Soul Beasts with contracts between Soul Masters and Spirit Souls. 43

Di Tian and other Fierce Beasts entered the Spirit Realm, received Divine Sparks, and were assigned responsibilities for its growth. Da Ming and Er Ming were instead empowered and tasked with guarding the Lake of Life. 54

Spirit Hall began moving Soul Beasts into the Spirit Realm and constructing Spirit Descent Platforms in major cities before publicly revealing the system. 74

Spirit Master Competition and public expansion

Spirit Hall hosted the final stages of the All-Continent Spirit Master Competition in Spirit City's Battle Soul Arena. Qian Xunfeng personally presided over the event, while the Spirit Hall Seven Luminaries Team ultimately won the championship. 195 216

At the competition's conclusion, Qian Xunfeng announced the Spirit Descending Tower and its Spirit Soul system to the continent. He later stated that other factions would be allowed access after three years. 216 217

Spirit Soul System

Spirit Soul contracts

The Spirit Realm allows a Soul Master and Soul Beast to form an equal contract. A recognized Spirit Soul supplies a Soul Ring while continuing its cultivation, and cannot control its contracted Soul Master. 43

• If the Soul Master dies, the Spirit Soul can reclaim the cultivation used to form the Soul Ring, though it retains only a fraction of it. 43
