Profound Lord Zizai Misleads the Dao to Block Kaiyuan; the Demon-Subduing Venerable King Crosses Worlds

A finger plucked a flower; a thought became a Buddha.

Though the Three Realms Great Thousand World had been established less than two thousand years ago, its heavenly rules and precepts had already taken shape, maintained by four Dao-holding beings: the emperor in the Heavenly Court, the two Heavenly Venerables of East Heaven, and the Buddha of West Heaven.

For any rank-fruit to be born, the concept had to arise within the world of the Three Realms Great Thousand World. Only then could its laws nurture the rank-fruit over thousands, even tens of thousands, of years.

When the Three Realms were established, the Heavenly Emperor had taken advantage of their incomplete rules and precepts to bring forth a batch of Divine Path rank-fruits. The Eastern Heaven Daoist Sect and West Heaven Pure Land had likewise brought forth batches of immortal and Buddhist rank-fruits.

But none of those rank-fruits reached the Pure Yang level. Most were merely at Void Refinement or the Integration Realm; even Mahayana Realm rank-fruits were exceedingly rare.

The myriad rank-fruits truly nurtured by the Three Realms Great Thousand World had yet to be born.

In such a world, forcibly shaping a rank-fruit above Pure Yang and altering its ironclad laws required the power to overturn heaven and earth.

And today, Lingding Arhat and Lingjue Bodhisattva witnessed the supreme might of Jinjue Buddha's Buddhist teachings.

One thought arose, one finger descended, and a Buddhist rank-fruit of the Dao-Wielding Realm came into being.

Granted, Jinjue Buddha had taken a shortcut, fashioning this rank-fruit from the thumb of his left hand. But that he could bring forth a Pure Yang rank-fruit of the Dao-Wielding Realm showed how far his Buddhist teachings had advanced.
