Watching the Moon Sink, Comprehending the Dao; Disciples of Every House Explore the Central Region
Within Xuanhuang World, the stars lay deathly still.
And the Taiyin Star hanging high above the sea of stars was now gradually setting westward in accordance with the celestial principles of the heavens.
Before they knew it, as the Taiyin Star sank westward, nearly half of its massive body had vanished from sight. Only its mottled radiance still scattered sparsely across the mortal world.
The sun rose and the moon hid; they rose in the east and set in the west. This was an eternal law of All Heavens and Myriad Worlds.
Even though Xuanhuang World had fallen into such ruin, the sun and moon, representing the core origins of a Great Thousand World, still followed this heavenly Dao without the slightest change.
Jiang Sheng, standing atop the Taiyin Star, sensed this most clearly.
The immense Taiyin Star seemed to be slowly sinking into the Sea of Void. Though its frigid Taiyin radiance remained unchanged, nearly half the star had vanished into the void along with invisible ripples.
Vanishing together with the celestial body were the Heavenly Demons that had sprawled across the Taiyin Star, endlessly gnawing at its glaciers in an attempt to burrow into its depths.
Those crazed Heavenly Demons disappeared along with the celestial body they occupied, even amidst their savage frenzy. Though Jiang Sheng still stood atop the Taiyin Star, he could no longer sense the traces of those vanished demons, nor could he observe the vanished portion of the star.
It was as though half the Taiyin Star had never existed at all, its very existence erased by an invisible mighty force, leaving everything within it utterly still.
