These were the Panrong Fruits, known as immortal fruits that revived the living dead, healed white bones, brought the dead back to life, united flourishing and withering, enabled one to comprehend the Dao of life and death, and glimpse the source of all immortals.
Yet at this moment, though one hundred and eight fruits hung high upon the Panrong Immortal Tree, those competing fought endlessly only over the outer ring of fruits.
It was not that no one cared for the Panrong Fruits deeper within, but that those fruits remained shrouded in Hua Guang and could not yet be picked.
If one looked down from above, one would discover that the one hundred and eight Panrong Fruits on the Panrong Immortal Tree were distributed across three layers. The outermost layer had the most, a full seventy-two fruits. Each was roughly fist-sized, with countless spiritual traces of laws winding around it, making it shine like a morning star.
These seventy-two Panrong Fruits dotted the outermost edge of the Panrong Immortal Tree's crown, like seventy-two Heavenly Stars encircling the Panrong Tree. These were what the gathered prodigies were fighting over.
