The Mountain Sea Realm arc was the first time Lin Yuan had given an entire world its own separate arc. It had not been written as well as it could have been, but Lin Yuan had still managed to write out its general content.
The Mountain Sea Realm was a world of ghosts and gods. What Lin Yuan wanted to write were the stories of ghosts and gods, as well as the stories of those behind the scenes. And the most important thing in the Mountain Sea Realm arc was this system of ghosts and gods.
The Jiuzhou arc had, in truth, already been planned out during the Mountain Sea arc.
If the Mountain Sea arc was the system and stories of ghosts and gods, and the Tianyuan World marked the beginning of internal strife within the Mystic Gate, then the Jiuzhou World would be the climax of that conflict within the Mystic Gate. It would also be the extension of that Deity-Rank Ghost-God Diagram from the Mountain Sea Realm: the Heavenly Investiture List.
The Mystic Gate's conflicts would always have to end with a clear victor and loser, and the myriad heavens and worlds would not remain in such chaos forever.
