Storm Giant Python

"Yo! You're up." Early the next morning, Mira had just gotten up when she saw Feng Lan leading Lisanna and Elfman through Morning Exercise.

"Mira, you sleep like the dead. Even Elfman and I couldn't wake you up," Lisanna said, skipping over to Mira.

"Yeah, Sis, were you having a good dream or something? You were smiling in your sleep and even talking," Elfman asked as he walked over.

"Huh? Mira talked in her sleep? I didn't notice." Feng Lan took a cup of wine from his bag and gulped it down.

"Mm, yeah. I remember Mira dreamed about Brother Feng Lan, I think?"

"And she said something like, 'It hurts, be gentler, don't bite there.'"

Lisanna and Elfman spoke with the innocent bluntness of children.

"Ah!" "Pfft!" Mira immediately flushed red and cried out, covering her face. Upon hearing that, Feng Lan sprayed a mouthful of wine from his mouth like a fountain.

"Brother Feng Lan, Sister Mira, what's wrong? Is that something bad?" Lisanna asked in confusion at their reactions.

"Mm... maybe it's something that isn't suitable to tell other people," Elfman guessed honestly.

"Oh~ Then I won't ask! It's Brother Feng Lan and Sister Mira's secret, right~?" Lisanna said with an expression that suggested she half understood.

Feng Lan and Mira exchanged an awkward look. "L-let's continue on our way!" Feng Lan was the first to break the silence.

"Yeah! Let's finish the commission quickly and get back," Mira hurriedly agreed.

But along the way, Lisanna and Elfman kept looking from Mira to Feng Lan, their faces full of gossip.

Seeing Mira's flushed face, Feng Lan quickly changed the subject. "Hey, Lisanna, Elfman, aren't you two going to prepare? Be careful, or that Commissioned Snake might swallow you whole~"

"Hmph! Brother Feng Lan is just trying to scare me! I don't believe any snake could eat me!" Lisanna pouted, making it impossible to tell whether she was angry or acting cute.

"Yeah, swallowing someone whole is way too exaggerated," Elfman said skeptically.

Another hour passed before the four of them finally reached their destination, but the sight that greeted them was rather terrifying.

"Sister Mira, I'm scared... Brother Feng Lan, save me." Lisanna clung to both Mira's and Feng Lan's legs as though she might burst into tears at any second.

"This is seriously too exaggerated!" Elfman said, his eyes wide and his voice trembling.

The moment Feng Lan, Mira, and the two children emerged from the grass, they saw a Greenish-blue Python hundreds of meters long and dozens of meters wide, drooling as it stared at them hungrily.

"This is an A-rank commission!?" Mira cried as she looked at the giant python.

"This snake is at least S-rank. I'm calling it." Feng Lan gave the giant python a careful look. "Mm, the meat should be pretty good. It'll probably taste delicious." As he spoke, he licked his lips.

"Damn it! The four of us wouldn't even be enough to whet its appetite, and you're thinking about how to eat it!?" Mira snapped at Feng Lan's unserious attitude.

"All right, get going. Let me see what the three of you can do. I'll step in when it's about time." Looking as though it had nothing to do with him, Feng Lan walked to the side. "Water Make: Chair."

"You really aren't going to fight!? Are you scared you can't beat me?" Mira tried to provoke Feng Lan into joining them. She didn't want her younger siblings taking such a risk, but she was also afraid she couldn't defeat it alone.

"Though I have no intention of contending for supremacy, I..." Feng Lan said mysteriously to Mira.

"Lisanna, Elfman, let's go!" Mira couldn't be bothered with Feng Lan anymore and charged straight in.

"Arm Take Over: Iron Bull Soul!" After taking in the Iron Bull's power, Elfman transformed his right arm into the Iron Bull's steel arm and attacked the giant python.

"Animal Take Over: White Cat Soul!" Lisanna grew Cat Ears and a Cat Tail. Stripes appeared on the lower halves of her arms, and her hands transformed into Cat Paws as she rushed at the giant python.

"Full Body Take Over: Satan Soul!" Mira took over the Demon Satan Soul. Wings and a tail sprouted from her back, and a crack appeared across her face, making her formerly sweet features look slightly ferocious.

"Oh? Satan Soul. That's pretty good. It's quite similar to my own mode~" Feng Lan muttered quietly as he watched the three use their magic.

"Take this, fist—claws!" Elfman and Lisanna charged in front of the giant python together, but the python clearly couldn't be bothered with attacks that were weaker than it turning over. Instead, it kept staring at Mira in the sky.

"Dark Spark!" Mira unleashed her magic without holding back. Dark magic bullets continuously shot from her hands and bombarded the giant python.

The prepared giant python immediately spewed Hurricane Breath from its mouth, blowing away all of Mira's magic. The scattered attacks flew everywhere, ravaging the surrounding terrain beyond recognition.

Then the giant python's coiled body began to writhe, kicking up clouds of dust, and Lisanna and Elfman hurriedly retreated.

When the dust cleared, the giant python had somehow grown a pair of wings hundreds of meters long and taken flight.

"Has it already begun turning into a dragon? I have to finish this quickly..." Feng Lan was slightly surprised.

"It's not over yet!" "Take this!" Lisanna and Elfman still charged forward stubbornly.

The next second, the giant python gave a light sweep of its tail and sent the two flying. "Lisanna! Elfman!" Mira shouted worriedly.

Feng Lan vanished from where he stood in an instant, flashing into the air and catching the two of them.

"Don't worry, they're fine." Feng Lan flashed back to the ground and set them down. "Wah... that was so scary." Lisanna looked like she was about to cry. "I'm still too weak," Elfman said self-deprecatingly.

"All right, you're normal children your age. The fact that you can use magic at all is already amazing!" Feng Lan hurriedly comforted them.

"But Natsu and Gray are both really strong too," Lisanna said to Feng Lan with tears in her eyes.

"I don't know Gray that well yet, but Natsu isn't normal!" At that moment, Natsu, who was out doing a commission, sneezed. "Who's thinking about me right now?"

"Super Abuse Flash!" Mira pressed both hands against the giant python's chest and fired a blast.

Boom! After the explosion, the giant python remained completely unmoved, while Mira was sent flying far away.

"Damn it, Dark Flow!" A massive claw struck the giant python heavily, barely knocking it back a few meters, but Mira herself was exhausted and panting.

"All right, I have a rough idea of your strength now. Rest first!" Feng Lan leaped high into the air, reached Mira's side, and caught her in his arms as they landed. Mira also released her Take Over. "What are you doing? I'd only just found my rhythm."

"Hehe, sorry. That giant python has already started growing Dragon Scales, so it has decent magic resistance. It'd be exhausting if you had to deal with it. It would be better if I used Dragon Slayer Magic." Feng Lan offered a brief apology.

"Tch, go on, then! Be careful." Mira said with an unhappy expression.

"Yeah, don't worry. Water Dragon's Roar!" A blue Dragon's Breath struck the giant python in full. "Roar!" A scream followed, and the giant python was slammed heavily into a nearby mountain.
