"Ahh, finally off the Train. I'm alive again!" Feng Lan said as he ran off the Train and stretched.
"Hey, Feng Lan, why does it feel like your motion sickness is even worse than Natsu's?" Mira complained as she lugged several large bags.
"Hehe, that's because the better you master Dragon Slayer Magic, the more badly you get motion sickness." Feng Lan hurriedly took the things from Mira's hands and explained.
"Isn't there any way to fix it? Natsu and Brother Feng Lan both look so miserable every time you ride in a vehicle." Elfman got off the Train carrying a pile of things as well.
"Hmm... some forms of transportation have special ingredients added to prevent dizziness, but they're far too expensive, so you basically never encounter them." Feng Lan smiled. "So if no one talks to me while I'm on a Train, I release the alcohol stored in my body and put myself to sleep."
"So that's the excuse you use for always drinking." Mira teased Feng Lan, who could only give an awkward laugh.
"Hurry up! I want to show Natsu the gift I bought him, and tell everyone at the guild that Brother Feng Lan slayed dragons!" Lisanna excitedly ran toward the guild.
"Lisanna, there's no need to make such a big deal out of that." Feng Lan wanted to stop Lisanna, but Mira stopped him instead.
"Don't be so modest. That doesn't suit Fairy Tail at all. With such a legendary achievement, shouldn't you show it off properly?" Mira said as she took her own things from Feng Lan's bags. "If it were Natsu, the whole of Fiore would probably know he'd slain a dragon..."
"That's true." Feng Lan laughed, then went after Lisanna.
"Everyone, we're back!" Lisanna shouted as she pushed open the guild doors.
"Yo, welcome back! Did you have fun?" Natsu was eating specially prepared flames on top of a table.
"Yeah, although we didn't really help much. Brother Feng Lan basically did all the work himself..." Lisanna said embarrassedly.
"That really does sound like my big bro!" Natsu laughed and looked at Feng Lan, who was setting down their things nearby.
"Well, if it isn't my dear little brother who mixed chili oil into my drink. How've you been?" Feng Lan said, knocking on Natsu's head.
"Uh... didn't you throw me onto the street first? It was self-defense." Natsu hurriedly dodged to the side.
"That was after-the-fact self-defense. Read more books when you have time." Feng Lan rolled his eyes at Natsu. "I'm in a good mood today, so I won't hold it against you."
Feng Lan then took a box from a shopping bag and walked over to Laxus. "Yo! Laxus, how are you feeling today?"
"Feng Lan! Ha, I'm feeling great today. I even prepared something for you." Laxus picked up a paper box from beside his feet and handed it to Feng Lan.
"What a coincidence, I brought something for you too." Feng Lan handed his own box to Laxus.
They opened their boxes at the same time. "Wow, isn't this the music player I'd had my eye on for ages but couldn't bring myself to buy?!" Laxus shouted excitedly.
"This book is the newest chapter of the novel I'm reading right now!" Feng Lan said, his eyes lighting up.
"As expected, you really get me. Hahaha!" Feng Lan and Laxus said in unison.
"Since when did those two get so close?" Makarov asked Mira with a bewildered look as he watched Laxus.
"Probably since they drank together the day before yesterday..." Mira said, equally speechless.
"Natsu! Look at the earrings I bought for you." Lisanna took out a small box containing a pair of ruby-studded earrings.
"These... must've been expensive, right?" Natsu said in shock as he picked up the earrings for a look.
"I don't know~ Brother Feng Lan paid for them, after all." Lisanna scratched her head.
"Uh... anyway, thank you, Lisanna." Natsu thanked her somewhat bashfully.
"Hehe, no need to thank me. After all, I'm Natsu's future bride!" Lisanna said proudly.
"You're just deciding that on your own again!" Natsu shouted, his face red.
"Hehe, Natsu's blushing. What a kid!" Lisanna wore an expression of triumphant scheming.
"Here we go again!" Natsu looked thoroughly defeated, making him quite amusing.
"Hey, this is for you, Iron Plate Woman!" Mira placed a box of strawberry cake on the table.
"Oh, thanks, Flat-Chested Woman." Erza shot back, then picked up the cake and sat off to the side to eat.
"By the way, Laxus, have you taken on any jobs these past two days?" Feng Lan handed Laxus a beer and began drinking one himself.
"Yeah, I did. That old man had me lead some newcomers. They only joined yesterday." Laxus took a sip of beer. "Come say hello!"
Three figures then walked over from the side. All three were a little older than Natsu and a little younger than Feng Lan.
One green-haired young man said, "My name is Freed Justine."
A young man wearing a helmet followed up, "My name is Bickslow."
Lastly, a brown-haired young woman said, "I... I'm Evergreen."
"Whoa! One leading three. Is it manageable?" Feng Lan asked with a laugh.
"Yeah, it's not bad. The three of them have good talent for magic, and they follow instructions well." Laxus praised the three of them to Feng Lan.
"Oh, everyone, come here." Lisanna suddenly remembered something. "Brother Feng Lan told us that he's really slain dragons~ And not just one."
"Seriously?! Is that true?" Gray asked, utterly shocked.
"It's true. I've seen it myself a few times," Natsu said from the side.
"As expected of you, Feng Lan." Laxus patted Feng Lan on the shoulder.
"Not really. The dragons I killed weren't anything impressive. At most, they were Young Dragons." Feng Lan waved his hand dismissively.
"Stop being so modest. Even a newborn dragon hatchling isn't something an ordinary person could kill, right?" Laxus raised a glass to Feng Lan.
"By the way, Natsu, do you want to form a team with us?" Lisanna invited Natsu.
"I can, but does what you say count?" Natsu asked after putting on the earrings Lisanna had given him.
"That's true. Is that okay, Brother Feng Lan?" Lisanna turned and asked Feng Lan.
"Of course. I happened to want to train Natsu properly too." Feng Lan nodded in agreement, while no one noticed Mira fixing up her appearance, ready to approve Natsu's entry into the team.
"Then let's choose a captain!" Natsu said with a grin.
"Then it obviously has to be..." Mira had not even finished speaking.
"I nominate Big Bro Feng Lan." Natsu thought for a moment before saying so.
"Me too. I agree that Brother Feng Lan should be captain." Lisanna raised her hand in support as well.
"I support Brother Feng Lan too." Even Elfman supported Feng Lan.
"I..." Mira looked utterly bewildered.
"Alright, unanimous decision! Brother Feng Lan is the captain!" Lisanna grabbed Feng Lan's hand and jumped around happily.
"Pfft!" Erza burst out laughing when she saw Mira's pitiful expression. "Hahaha, how pathetic, Flat-Chested Woman!"
"What did you say, Stiff Woman?!" Mira slammed a hand on the table and started fighting Erza.
"Natsu, let's settle this between ourselves too." Gray challenged Natsu.
And just like that, Fairy Tail's all-out brawl began!
Makarov, meanwhile, shouted in despair, "I just want to drink peacefully! Give me a break!"
