Winds Stir, Anti-Ajin Special Task Force Established

Below him sat the Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications, the Minister of Justice, the Minister for Foreign Affairs, the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare, the Minister of Defense, the Minister of Reconstruction, and other Cabinet ministers.

"Everyone, speak up. What exactly should we do about this situation?"

In the end, Kamijima Kentaro was the first to speak.

After the battle at the Crisis Management Center, everyone had seen the Ajin's true combat strength.

The chaos in Tokyo had only just settled, but compared to that, the trouble posed by the Ajin and the pressure from America were what truly gave them headaches.

He handed them to Kamijima Kentaro. "This is the plan concerning Ajin compiled before his death by Tozaki Yuu, the former head of the Ajin Research Management Association. Please review it, Prime Minister."

Kamijima Kentaro did not have any solutions either. Being pushed into the position of Prime Minister now gave him a tremendous headache.

His predecessor had left behind a complete mess and walked away. If he failed to handle it properly, he was afraid he would be gone soon as well.

Now that someone had finally proposed a solution, whether it was reliable or not, he had to examine it carefully.

Soon, the only sound left in the conference room was Kamijima Kentaro turning the pages.

Kamijima Kentaro set down the proposal in his hands, his brows tightly furrowed as he pondered it carefully.

"Using Ajin against Ajin—do you think it's feasible?"

He turned toward Shintani Hideaki and spoke in a deep voice.

"According to the 'Ajin Stage Law' proposed by Tozaki Yuu, First-Stage Ajin do not pose much of a threat.

"The ones capable of posing a truly serious threat are all 'Second-Stage Ajin'!

"At present, there are four confirmed 'Second-Stage Ajin.'

"Sato, the mastermind behind terrorist activities such as the 'Research Institute Explosion Incident,' the 'Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare Passenger Plane Attack Incident,' the 'Enoki General Hospital Torrent Outbreak Incident,' the 'Assassination Incident,' and the 'Crisis Center Explosion Incident'!

"Then there is Bai Xing, whose origins cannot be investigated at all. Every record contains only his name, and he was also the instigator behind the 'Yokota Base Explosion Incident.'

"Then there is Shimomura Izumi, formerly Tozaki Yuu's assistant.

Shimomura Izumi stood at the entrance, with Nagai Kei beside her.

Ever since the battle at the Crisis Management Center three days earlier, Nagai Kei and Shimomura Izumi had been detained by the Japan Self-Defense Forces that arrived afterward.

During that time, Shimomura Izumi had been the first to be called in for a talk by the newly appointed head, Shintani Hideaki, who was also the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare.

She had agreed to become the captain of the Anti-Ajin Special Task Force.

Nagai, however, still knew nothing about any of it.

He had merely been inexplicably released today, then picked up by Shimomura Izumi in her car.

After leaving central Tokyo, they arrived at this privately owned medical center in an elegant yet secluded location.

"Your sister Eriko is receiving treatment here. Besides that, I want to introduce you to someone else who is here as well."
