Unfortunately, facing Sato, who was far stronger than her, as well as the Desperate Self-Sacrifice Fist whose backlash had shattered even the bones in her arm.

And what Nagai had seen was the toxic gas from those other models.

Sato had no use for those things, but to Nagai, they were the key to breaking the deadlock!

He first had the people at FORGE Company dispose of one batch of toxic gas, then fill the container with a disguised gas.

The purpose was to pass off the false as the real thing and fool everyone when the time came.

Then, when they arrived at Tokyo Tower, he worked with Shimomura Izumi.

They successfully severed Sato's arm and stole the toxic gas.

The other five mercenary members of the Ajin Squad had then come to meet them with the prepared fake.

Shimomura Izumi switched the toxic gas at incredible speed.

Those five members quickly withdrew and delivered the toxic gas to a safe location.

As for Shimomura Izumi, she continued fleeing with the fake toxic gas, drawing Sato's attention.

The time she had spent fleeing, combined with the time she and Nagai had just spent entangling Sato in battle.

Logically, should have been enough for those five members to get far away.
