After leaving Purple Cloud Palace, Nuwa's anger continued to build.
"Those two bastards—one day, I'll make them see how formidable I am! Once I become a Golden Immortal, I'll beat them to death!"
She imagined that once she attained Golden Immortal status, she would become an invincible existence beneath the heavens.
At that thought, countless flames blazed up in her heart.
Behind her, Fuxi was speechless. He still did not fully understand this Golden Immortal business.
Houtu, on the other hand, asked curiously.
"Fellow Daoist, is your master truly a Golden Immortal?"
"Why are you so obsessed with Golden Immortal cultivation?"
Nuwa stood there, rendered speechless. This was not the time to make others curious about her master.
Especially female cultivators.
Her elder brother was one of her own, so there was no problem there.
In the end, she answered vaguely.
"Well, I merely wish to attain the Dao. Once I do, I'll definitely kill that bastard."
Houtu chuckled, then could not help saying, "Since Fellow Daoist says so, I am sure you will succeed. I imagine Fellow Daoist is already the foremost person beneath the Sages."
Nuwa said nothing. Her master did not seem to be a Sage, yet he was not exactly beneath the Sages either.
Come to think of it, that was not wrong.
But amid her thoughts, she seemed to sense that an opportunity was descending upon the world for her.
"An opportunity of mine has descended. Let us go and see what is going on."
Fuxi nodded at this, and Houtu nodded as well.
Although they had not received the answer they wanted from the Sage, Nuwa's master was surely no ordinary person.
Perhaps where even a Sage had no solution, her master might have one.
After all, even the Sage did not dare offend Nuwa too deeply upon hearing that man's name.
Otherwise, Nuwa would hardly be standing here unharmed right now.
After entering the Primordial World, Nuwa followed the guidance and arrived near Mount Buzhou.
There, she saw Minghe, Hongyun, Zhenyuanzi, and others gathered in one place.
Even Di Jun and Eastern Emperor Taiyi were there.
They all stood before a Gourd Vine, upon which seven gourds were still being nurtured.
A naturally formed innate formation isolated the gourds from the outside world.
Nuwa looked at the seven gourds before her.
Just as she was about to speak, a voice came from the horizon.
"Fellow Daoists, this treasure is fated with our Western—"
Before the speaker could finish, Nuwa turned to look behind her.
The moment the two bald men appeared, they went blank.
Never in their wildest dreams had they imagined that, after escaping to the Primordial World, they would run into Nuwa again.
Why was this killing star here too?
Their expressions changed drastically. In an instant, they turned and prepared to flee.
With a flicker, Nuwa appeared at their side.
Her two hands landed squarely on their shoulders.
"Where do you two think you're going?"
Zhunti and Jieyin nearly burst into tears. How could they run into her anywhere they went?
When they turned around, awkward smiles were plastered across their faces.
"Fellow Daoist Nuwa, you are here too. We were merely passing by. We'll leave at once."
A faint smile appeared at the corner of Nuwa's lips as she surveyed the surrounding mountains.
"I recall that in Purple Cloud Palace, the looks you two gave me were rather vicious. This old lady was quite frightened at the time. Look at Mount Buzhou in the east—isn't this where you spend all day scavenging for handouts?"
"Don't you think the scenery here is rather nice?"
"Wouldn't it make a fitting burial ground for you two?"
At her words, both men shuddered together and awkwardly swallowed a mouthful of saliva.
"Fellow Daoist, we did not have that expression then, truly. We merely admired Fellow Daoist's profound cultivation."
"Exactly, Fellow Daoist Nuwa. We were just passing through. We'll be heading back to the West now—there's still plenty to do over there."
"Fellow Daoist, killing someone only takes a nod of the head. Better to let one more matter go than stir up another. Let this matter end here. If you need anything from us in the future, feel free to command us. What do you say?"
As Nuwa listened to the two men beg for mercy, she turned it over in her mind. Fuxi, who stood beside her, stepped forward as well.
"Little sister, this lecture has already made us enemies with many. We shouldn't add any more karma."
Yet Nuwa shook her head, unable to stop herself from speaking.
"Master once said that if you make enemies and can defeat them, kill them outright. Then wipe them out completely and ensure their True Spirits are utterly destroyed. That way, no karma remains, and nothing will happen afterward."
"If you can't beat them, bring them back and tell Master. Let him deal with them."
At those words, not only were Zhunti and Jieyin shocked, even Di Jun and the others in the distance were startled.
Even Minghe froze.
A chill ran through all their hearts.
That was far too ruthless—killing them outright, destroying even their True Spirits.
And the karma would simply disperse?
That was too vicious.
Her master was a star of slaughter too.
Minghe was the most shaken of all. As a Sage of the Killing Dao, even he did not dare to be so cruel.
Only now did he realize things could turn out like this.
In an instant, a figure appeared in everyone's minds.
That figure was vicious to the extreme.
The moment that image took shape, it was stamped with a single label: never provoke him.
This was absurd. Offending others was one thing, but offend this person and he would chase you down until your True Spirit was obliterated. It was simply outrageous.
Once Nuwa finished speaking, she was about to strike when thunder suddenly rumbled through the heavens.
Thunderclouds gathered at once, black lightning brewing within them.
A figure also appeared in the sky.
"Nuwa, why create such needless slaughter? Stop. I will discipline these two on your behalf."
Nuwa raised her head and looked at the figure in the sky.
"Old man, why do you always have to meddle in everything? Every time I want to kill someone, you come out to ruin things. Just because you're a Sage, you think you're so impressive? Just wait. The moment I can beat you, you'll be the first one I kill. If I don't become a Sage, I won't come out of seclusion again. If you've got the nerve, come to my master's place."
But the instant her words fell, Zhunti and Jieyin vanished from where they stood.
Seeing this, Nuwa's fury surged. Gritting her teeth, she turned to glare at everyone behind her.
"The Divine Treasures here are mine. All of you, get out!"
After saying that, Di Jun and the others exchanged glances. Then, with a sigh, they slipped away at once.
As he left, Hongyun could not help saying one thing.
"The Primordial World won't be peaceful anymore. A star of slaughter like this has emerged."
Even Fuxi felt that something was wrong with his little sister. Her killing intent was far too heavy.
At the slightest disagreement, she wanted to destroy someone's True Spirit.
That was far too ruthless.
Could her master possibly be someone of the Killing Dao?
His methods were so vicious and merciless.
If this continued for too long, would his little sister turn into a demon?
"Little sister, your master... he isn't someone of the Killing Dao, is he?"
Hearing that, Nuwa thought for a moment, then shook her head.
Rather than someone of the Killing Dao, her master was more a person of the Cautious Dao.
"No. My master is simply more cautious in how he does things."
Fuxi was instantly speechless. That was what she called cautious? How had her master taught such an utterly reckless disciple?
