• Wang Chen destroyed the Evil Nest on the mountain, but its collapse unleashed Evil Monsters that killed Senior Brother Chen's group and drove Wang Chen from the guard station with Yun Feifei, Sun Yulian, and Li Mengyan.
• Wang Chen and the three women fled to Weifa City, where they survived a siege by Evil Monsters and two-headed giants before the white tiger drove the attackers away.
• True Person Bai Jun ordered a Demon Suppressing Legion to destroy a rapidly growing Evil Nest, and Wang Chen joined the volunteers and refined his Purple Thorn Spirit Armor.
• The legion attacked the Giant Cocoon Evil Nest, but its Evil Spirit Illusion Array separated Wang Chen from the others and trapped the cultivators inside.

After surviving an ambush and completing the Dragon Abyss Sword, he reunited with Xu Xinlan in Myriad Spirit City.

• Wang Chen returned from the Yinming Realm, presented the Evil Nest Stone to True Person Bai Jun, and chose to enter Changhe True Person’s lineage.
• Changhe True Person accepted Wang Chen as his personal disciple, and Wang Chen moved into Tingtao Manor despite Mo Zhenzhen’s demand that he leave.
• Changhe True Person sent Wang Chen to the Spirit Mountain Dharma Assembly, where Wang Chen became chief representative after Xuan Yuan Temple mistreated the visiting cultivators.
