Ye Chang'an couldn't figure it out and couldn't be bothered to think any further.
"I told you, as long as you behave yourself, you can fulfill your long-cherished wish."
It was complete nonsense, but Otto had already been thoroughly fooled.
He took Ye Chang'an's words to mean that as long as he obeyed, Ye Chang'an would tell him how to revive Kallen—or perhaps even help revive her himself.
So he bent lower at the waist, his tone becoming even more earnest.
"Mister Chang'an, I understand what you mean. Please feel free to command me as you wish. I, Otto Apocalypse, along with my Schicksal, am willing to assist you with all our strength."
As long as Kallen could be revived, anything could become a tool.
Including himself. Including all of Schicksal.
Ye Chang'an was even more speechless.
Does this future Otto have something wrong with his head? He feels weird.
He really was weird.
But what did that matter?
Wasn't Ye Chang'an in need of an Otto who would behave himself and stop causing trouble?
The world was already chaotic enough. There really was no need to make it worse.
Still, it was too absurd to simply assume that Otto would obediently assist him.
"You haven't even confirmed that I'm Chang'an from Tai Xu Mountain, have you?"
Ye Chang'an voiced his doubt, feeling that only confirming this could explain Otto's sudden change.
"I have already confirmed it."
Otto answered with a smile, leaving Ye Chang'an speechless.
He couldn't figure out how Otto had confirmed it, so he would just assume that Otto truly had changed because of it.
Then he began considering just what use an obedient Otto, one capable of mobilizing Schicksal, could be to him.
Ye Chang'an pondered it, then realized that Otto's usefulness seemed
