Tony Stark quickly arrived at the venue for Stark Industries' charity ball.
This was a ball for high society, filled with handsome men and important figures dressed in expensive attire, as well as many young, beautiful, and sexy women.
Tony Stark's arrival immediately drew the attention of countless people.
After handing his car over to the valet, Tony Stark scanned his surroundings, casually responding to those who greeted him, while searching for Harvey Anberaka.
He wanted to talk to Harvey Anberaka again, to understand how much the man knew about him.
Unfortunately, Tony Stark did not see Harvey Anberaka.
So, Tony Stark decided to find Obadiah first, wanting to ask him why this charity ball was being held without his knowledge.
After a few exchanges, just as Tony was about to go inside to ask Obadiah for clarification.
An Audi R8, with a roaring engine, pulled up to the side of the road in a stylish drift.
New York was bustling, but most of the cars belonging to upper-class individuals were recognizable.
The arrival of this silver Audi R8 immediately let most people present know who the owner of the car was.
Tony Stark, who had specifically investigated the matter, of course knew who owned this car.
Soon, the car door opened, and a man with black hair, black eyes, a tall build, and a handsome appearance stepped out.
"Directly misappropriating 3.5 billion US dollars in liquid funds to become one of Stark Industries' shareholders."
"Looks like there's another celebrity to add to the list."
Some people who knew more about the situation whispered amongst themselves as they saw the man arrive.
"He's actually attending the party?"
"He didn't bring a date this time, did he?"
Seeing Harvey Anberaka arrive, several young, beautiful women looked on in disbelief while also feeling a sense of anticipation.
Although Harvey Anberaka had attended Tony Stark's press conference last time, this was undoubtedly Harvey Anberaka's first appearance at a formal party.
Charity balls like this usually required a female companion, and if one was lucky, they might even spend a pleasant night together.
Tony Stark stood on the steps, and his gaze met Harvey Anberaka's.
Tony Stark didn't waste any words and walked straight over.
"Rumor has it you don't attend these kinds of events. Although you received an invitation, why did you come this time?"
Tony Stark approached Harvey and asked.
"There should be a lot of good food here. I happened to receive an invitation, and I had nothing else going on, so I decided to come and take a look."
"Besides, I felt you'd really want to talk to me right now, so I came."
Harvey smiled slightly upon hearing this.
"Then do you have time to chat with me?"
Tony Stark didn't deny the confident tone in Harvey Anberaka's words.
"That depends on what you want to talk about."
Harvey didn't give a clear answer.
"Let's go inside to talk."
Tony Stark glanced around at his surroundings and said.
Harvey nodded in agreement and followed Tony Stark inside.
The two of them conversed as if they had known each other for a long time, sparking the curiosity of many around them.
Coulson, seeing that Harvey Anberaka had also arrived and seemed to be discussing something with Stark, decided to find an opportunity to talk to Stark.
"Why did you suddenly buy Stark Industries shares?"
Stark and Harvey entered the venue together and went directly to a deserted balcony outside the ballroom.
"The reason is, of course, that I want to make more money."
Harvey said calmly, looking out at the night view.
"So I'm asking, why are you suddenly optimistic about Stark Industries?"
Tony Stark, hearing this evasive answer, questioned him.
He couldn't figure out this question no matter how hard he tried, so he could only get answers from Harvey Anberaka.
"With your intelligence, it shouldn't be difficult for you to figure out my reasons, right?"
Harvey turned and glanced at Tony Stark's chest, speaking meaningfully.
"Who told you?"
"Obadiah?"
With just that glance, Tony Stark felt as if he had been completely seen through. His eyes narrowed, and he immediately started guessing, tentatively uttering the most likely name.
"Trash that can be discarded and erased at any time is not worth my acquaintance."
Harvey said calmly upon hearing this.
"..."
Tony Stark detected a sense of disregard in Harvey Anberaka's tone.
This wasn't an act; he could feel that, in Harvey Anberaka's eyes, Obadiah Stane was just an insignificant figure.
But no matter what, Obadiah Stane had collaborated with the military for many years and was a prominent figure in America.
What gave Harvey Anberaka the confidence to say such things?
"I have no quarrel with you, so I'll pretend I didn't hear any of this."
Tony Stark didn't think much of Obadiah Stane himself. It was just that the man belonged to the same generation as his father and was one of the old guard at Stark Industries.
So, while he didn't particularly respect Obadiah Stane, he didn't think the man was foolish either. Their years of acquaintance were decent enough.
Based on his investigation into Harvey Anberaka's background and origins, if Obadiah Stane were to learn that Harvey Anberaka looked down on him so much, Harvey Anberaka could face a devastating blow.
Although Harvey Anberaka made Tony Stark very unhappy, it had to be said that the two of them didn't really have any enmity.
"You want to help me keep this quiet? Thank you so much."
"As a thank you, Tony Stark, I can give you a piece of advice. Do you want to hear it?"
Upon hearing Tony Stark's words, the indifference and calmness in Harvey's eyes instantly melted away, and a smile appeared on his face.
"I'm not asking you this time; you're the one who wants to say it."
Tony Stark, hearing that Harvey Anberaka wanted to give him advice, kept a wary eye and clarified their positions beforehand: it wasn't him asking, but Harvey insisting on speaking.
"Of course, this is just a thank you."
"Aren't you investigating who deliberately kidnapped you?"
"Trust your intuition, and be careful of that person."
"After all, even trash can cause some trouble."
Harvey said this, seeing Tony Stark frantically distancing himself, as if afraid he would think Tony Stark was asking for a favor.
"You... how did you know I was kidnapped?"
Hearing "trust your intuition," a name flashed through Tony Stark's mind. But he quickly reacted, about to ask loudly, then immediately lowered his voice.
"I'm a bit hungry. I should go get something to eat."
Harvey glanced at Tony Stark upon hearing this, but didn't answer. Instead, he patted his stomach and, talking to himself, walked into the ballroom.
Seeing Harvey Anberaka walk through the dance floor and head straight for the table laden with food, Tony Stark had many questions.
However, Harvey Anberaka's current location was clearly not suitable for him to continue their conversation.
So, he was also forced to suppress his inner doubts for the time being and walked into the dance floor.
