Tony Stark encountered an interception by two fighter jets on his way back.

After a round of evasive maneuvers, Tony Stark finally made it back to Stark Mansion in New York.

Once home, Tony Stark immediately instructed Jarvis to compile all the evidence of Obadiah Stane's crimes.

Afterward, Tony Stark announced that he would hold a board meeting that evening.

He also asked Colonel Rhodes to wait for his signal before taking action.

Although he had created the Iron Man Armor, it was not yet time to reveal it.

And he did not want to abuse the Iron Man Armor. Otherwise, it could not be considered atonement for his past sins.

Without the Iron Man Armor, Tony Stark was just an ordinary man. Naturally, he had to worry that Obadiah Stane might lash out like a cornered dog and suddenly attack him.

Although Tony Stark had been maneuvered out of the board by Obadiah Stane, his call for a board meeting still carried weight.

Everyone at Stark Industries with the authority to attend board meetings received the news.

Since Stark Industries had been attacked that morning, the board had already planned to discuss a response.

Now, Tony Stark's summons brought them all together.

When Obadiah Stane received word that Tony was calling a board meeting, his heart skipped a beat, but he still decided to attend.

Soon, it was five in the afternoon.

Numerous guards patrolled around Stark Industries Tower.

Inside Stark Industries' conference room.

Tony Stark looked at the old fossils seated around the table, all broad-bodied and thick-waisted, well into their forties and fifties. Harvey Anberaka was not among them.

He knew that Harvey Anberaka had definitely learned of some of his plans and actions.

Otherwise, Harvey Anberaka should have come to listen and discuss a response to something that could make the other shareholders uneasy.

Obadiah Stane had already bought off nearly all the other shareholders who held power within Stark Industries.

Half the board was made up of his people, which was the key reason he dared to attend the meeting.

But they had not completely torn off the mask yet, so he still had to show some respect.

"Tony, what did you call us here to discuss this time?"

Obadiah Stane looked at Tony and asked with a smile.

"Before I explain, I want everyone to look at something."

"Jarvis, play it."

Seeing Obadiah Stane still putting on that hypocritical act, Tony Stark did not respond. He simply gave the order.

Upon receiving the command, Jarvis immediately displayed the compiled video evidence.

The footage contained evidence that Obadiah Stane had instructed the Ten Rings Gang to kill him.

The timestamp in the upper-right corner showed that the conversation had taken place a month before Tony Stark decided to go to Afghanistan. His itinerary had clearly been exposed long ago.

There was also footage of Tony Stark being attacked a month later, gravely wounded and on the brink of death.

Further footage showed Obadiah Stane telling those terrorists from the Ten Rings Gang to kill Tony Stark once they had squeezed every last bit of value out of him.

The entire board watched the footage in dead silence.

Even the other shareholders whom Obadiah Stane had persuaded and bought off felt a chill run through them.

They had sided with Obadiah Stane solely because Tony Stark had decided to shut down the weapons manufacturing division without consulting anyone.

It had harmed their interests and wealth, so they had joined Obadiah Stane's camp and dragged Tony Stark down from the chairman's seat.

But they had never expected that Tony Stark, who the public believed had merely gone sightseeing in Afghanistan for two months, had actually faced a premeditated assassination attempt there.

If Tony Stark had not presented this evidence, they would still have been kept in the dark by Obadiah Stane.

If Obadiah Stane could erase Tony Stark so silently, then what would happen if they stood on the wrong side in the future, or if they were deemed worthless?

Would they also be quietly eliminated like this?

Though Tony Stark had somehow been blessed with the chance to escape alive, that did not mean everyone could survive a terrorist attack.

"Obadiah Stane, you watched me grow up, so I always regarded you as an uncle worthy of respect."

"For many years, our cooperation may not have been perfectly close, but we each fulfilled our duties and made Stark Industries stronger and stronger."

"I never deliberately hid any of my inventions or plans from you."

"So I always believed we had a good relationship."

"But I never imagined that one day, I would be betrayed by my own uncle."

Feeling the silence in the conference room, Tony Stark looked at Obadiah Stane, whose face had darkened now that his deeds had been completely exposed, and spoke with sorrow in his eyes.

Now that he knew Obadiah Stane had been behind everything, Tony Stark recalled how, after his successful test launch had caught the military's interest in purchasing Stark Industries technology,

Obadiah Stane had immediately contacted him to ask how things were going.

He had not been concerned that things might have gone poorly. He had wanted to know whether Tony had arrived at the designated military testing base in Afghanistan.

After confirming it and hanging up, Obadiah Stane had immediately passed the information to the Ten Rings Gang. The thought of it made Tony Stark sick.

Then, after finishing his speech, Tony Stark pressed a button.

Bang! The conference room doors were flung open.

Orderly footsteps rang out as Colonel Rhodes led a group of FBI agents filing in at once.

Click! Click! Click! Handguns were raised and aimed at Obadiah Stane.

The board's shareholders were so frightened that they did not dare move.

"Obadiah Stane, you colluded with terrorists and sold national intelligence, causing the loss of valuable national personnel."

"And you deliberately attempted to murder Tony Stark. You are under arrest."

Colonel Rhodes looked at Obadiah Stane and announced his crimes.

For attempted murder, with Obadiah Stane's wealth and influence, he might still have had a chance of getting out of prison.

But with the charge of colluding with terrorists and selling national intelligence added on, Obadiah Stane would spend the rest of his life behind bars.

"I want to make a phone call. There are still matters regarding this..."

Obadiah Stane stood up and spoke as he reached into his coat to make a call.

Colonel Rhodes fired with a bang!, killing Obadiah Stane on the spot.

Obadiah Stane had cost his men several brothers and earned him a reprimand from above.

Terrorists were not so easily dealt with, but now that he knew Obadiah Stane's collusion had caused him to lose brothers,

Colonel Rhodes gave Obadiah Stane no chance to explain himself.

"Take him away."

Colonel Rhodes coldly spoke to the other shareholders in the conference room, who were trembling in terror.

Two soldiers immediately carried Obadiah Stane away.

"Alright, let's continue the meeting."

"Now, we need to discuss Stark Industries' future direction."

Tony Stark had walked through the brutal, merciless land of Afghanistan, so this display did not change his expression in the slightest as he spoke.

Facing Tony Stark, who clearly had deep ties to the military, none of the shareholders present dared oppose his opinion.
