Background / History

Beast Emperor Hall is a hidden organization located within a small world reached through an entrance in the Far North. Its territory contains an immense, ancient forest far more lush than the diminished Star Dou Great Forest, where Soul Beasts live without the distress and conflict common outside. 104

It was founded ten thousand years earlier by a Phoenix who shared Lin Xiuran's name and possessed the same pure Phoenix bloodline. The founder led part of the Soul Beast population to survival before being forced into nirvana rebirth. 108

Over ten thousand years, the Hall developed an ordered society of intelligent Soul Beasts and humans. It secretly adopted and raised selected children—generally from the age of three—partly because the Phoenix Heart could cleanse and influence them from childhood. 109

The Hall has not returned to the peak it held under its founder. It preserves Soul Beasts facing doomed Heavenly Tribulations in ice coffins, awaiting the return of the being who once led them to glory. 245

The Phoenix Heart is a nine-colored crystal platform and the absolute, irreplaceable core of Beast Emperor Hall. Its influence extends throughout the small world and sustains the Hall's foundation for survival. 107 109 111
