He dismisses the incident as a likely royal power transition, believing mortals would not dare seek a divine artifact, but remains wary of the Deep Sea Demon Whale King's partial control over the ocean. 194

Conflict with the Deep Sea Demon Whale King

After learning that Bo Saixi has disappeared, Poseidon intervenes, retrieves her from Su Chen's imprisonment, and sends the Golden Scepter to summon the Deep Sea Demon Whale King. 223

Su Chen and the whale king exploit Poseidon's suspicion by staging an apparent advance toward godhood. Poseidon initially doubts the claim, but the whale king's Sage Art Energy enhancement and an orchestrated battle cause Poseidon to believe the threat may be genuine. 224 226 227

After confirming the Rakshasa God's involvement, Poseidon arranges for Bo Saixi and Xiao Bai to attack Bibi Dong, intending to divert the Rakshasa God's attention. Believing the Deep Sea Demon Whale King is near godhood, he descends in his true body to kill it. 233 235 236

Poseidon finds himself ambushed by Su Chen, Di Tian, the Deep Sea Demon Whale King, the Rakshasa God's clone, and Gu Yue Na. He initially overwhelms them with sea-based divine attacks, but Su Chen frees the group by drawing Poseidon's attention and counters his techniques with Rinnegan abilities. 236 237

In the final clash, Poseidon uses the Sea God Trident and the Golden Thirteen Halberds against Su Chen's enhanced Thousand-Hand Colossal Buddha. Su Chen's attack ultimately crushes Poseidon's resistance. 238 239

Death and aftermath

Although Poseidon's Divine Soul reforms in the Divine Realm, Su Chen's Chakra causes his Divine Power and authority to drain away completely, resulting in his true death. His fallen Divine Power becomes a rain that grants every creature touched by it the qualification to pursue the Sea God position. 239 240
