Mito Uzumaki

Dawn had just broken.

Renye jolted awake from his dream, cold sweat soaking his back.

His chest heaved violently, and fear and confusion still lingered in his eyes.

"Again, that dream..." Renye muttered uneasily. "What exactly is that place?"

In that bizarre dream, he found himself in a completely unfamiliar place.

A pungent medicinal smell filled the air. He lay on a cold experiment table, his hands and feet restrained by strange devices, unable to move.

An eerie red glow flickered along the laboratory walls. Specimens of all sorts of bizarre shapes were displayed around him, faintly giving off a nauseating stench.

A guy in a White Coat kept circling around him, but for some reason, Renye could not see his face clearly.

That guy held a notebook and seemed to be recording something. Every movement made Renye feel deeply uncomfortable, as though he were a lamb awaiting slaughter, left to be studied and toyed with.

"Is this really my cheat ability?" Renye looked puzzled.

Among the many novels he had read before transmigrating, some Protagonists really did possess cheat abilities related to dreams.

For example, one protagonist had dreamed for over a decade that he was being hunted by different monsters, only to later learn that it had been his cheat ability all along!

A red-haired woman stood at the gate. Her long red hair was tied into two buns, adorned with decorations resembling talismans.

The purple diamond-shaped mark on her forehead was striking, and her gaze was gentle.

A white cheongsam outlined her graceful figure.

Every movement she made radiated elegance.

Renye recognized her at a glance. Wasn't this Hashirama Senju's wife, Mito Uzumaki?

Why was she here?

Although Renye recognized Mito's identity, he pretended not to know and asked curiously, "Who are you?"

Mito Uzumaki smiled and walked lightly over to Renye. She crouched down in front of him and looked him straight in the eye, speaking softly.

"I'm Tobirama's sister-in-law. I heard he adopted an Uchiha child, so I came to take a look... You're the child Tobirama adopted, right?"

For some reason, Renye always felt that Mito Uzumaki could see through his thoughts. The feeling made him very uncomfortable.

He instinctively took a step back, putting some distance between himself and Mito. "That's right. I'm the Uchiha adopted by that White-haired Uncle."

Mito Uzumaki paused slightly, then covered her mouth and chuckled. "Why do you call Tobirama White-haired Uncle?"

Renye curled his lip and explained, "That guy doesn't like me... and coincidentally, I don't like him either... It's already nice enough that I don't just call him white-haired."

Mito Uzumaki was amused by his words. Shaking her head with a smile, she said, "What a tsundere little brat."

Actually, she did not understand what Hashirama had gotten into... Why was he so determined to make Tobirama adopt an Uchiha child?

Tobirama Senju's hatred for the Uchiha Clan was practically common knowledge.

Because of this, Tobirama had often come home to complain, grumbling endlessly about all the infuriating things Renye did.

Mito Uzumaki had grown curious from listening, so she decided to come see just how irritating this little brat Tobirama kept talking about really was.

After spending just a short while with him, she realized Tobirama had been talking nonsense.

Renye was a little tsundere, but not irritating enough to warrant that description.

Most likely, Tobirama was prejudiced against the Uchiha Clan and was doing it on purpose.

There was no need to guess his goal. He simply wanted to send Renye back.

Thinking that, Mito Uzumaki reached out to pat Renye's head, but he dodged away.

She was slightly stunned, not expecting Renye to avoid her.

"Auntie, don't touch my head whenever you feel like it," Renye said. "Don't you know a man's head isn't for touching?"

Mito Uzumaki froze, not expecting Renye to say something like that.

She chuckled softly. "Alright, alright. Auntie won't touch you."

"That's more like it." Renye crossed his arms, looking thoroughly tsundere.

As a proud Uchiha, how could he allow an outsider to touch his head?

If word got out, would Uchiha Renye have any dignity left?!

"Oh, right, I haven't asked your name yet." Mito Uzumaki then remembered that she had not asked Renye's name.

"My name is Uchiha Renye." Renye looked at Mito. "And you, Auntie?"

Mito Uzumaki smiled faintly. "Little Renye, my name is Mito Uzumaki."

Renye nodded to show that he understood.

"Aunt Mito, I still need to train."

Renye began ushering her out. He did not have time to chat with her right now; he needed to grow stronger as quickly as possible.

As he spoke, he sat down cross-legged, closed his eyes, and began refining Chakra.

Mito Uzumaki's pretty face filled with shock at the sight. She had not expected Renye to chase her away.

"What an interesting little brat." Mito Uzumaki looked intrigued.

She finally understood why Tobirama had come to complain. Renye truly was different from ordinary children.

That meant Tobirama was going to have a rough time.

Watching Renye train so seriously, she slowly stood up and left the courtyard.

After Mito Uzumaki left, Renye opened his eyes and stared in the direction she had disappeared, lost in thought.

Hashirama Senju's Residence.

"Elder Brother, I'm begging you, can't you send that kid away?!" Tobirama Senju pleaded.

Tobirama Senju, renowned for his calm and composure, actually had such a humble side.

If anyone familiar with him saw this, their jaws would surely drop.

These days, whenever he thought about an Uchiha brat living in his house, nothing felt right.

"Tobirama, you need to learn tolerance and acceptance," Hashirama Senju said earnestly.

He truly hoped his younger brother and Renye could get along well.

Perhaps this way, Tobirama might stop hating the Uchiha.

That way, Tobirama might stop hating the Uchiha Clan.

He had come here first thing after getting up, hoping his Elder Brother would take back his order. But no matter what he said, his Elder Brother refused to budge.

At that moment, Mito Uzumaki walked into the room.

Seeing her, Tobirama Senju immediately looked at Mito and pleaded for help.

"Sister-in-law, hurry up and talk some sense into my Elder Brother!"
