Renye had finished eating but wasn't in a hurry to return; instead, he wandered over to the compound.

Compared to the Senju Clan, he might as well live at the orphanage.

"Renye, you're back!" Shun Uchiha spotted Renye's arrival, ran up to him, and said excitedly.

He had already learned that his friend was adopted by Tobirama Senju.

"Just came back to see you all..." Renye explained.

This time returning to the compound wasn't solely to visit his friend; he also wanted to ask the Director for a ninjutsu scroll.

The Uchiha Clan had their own Clan Vault, storing various strategic supplies, including a large number of ninjutsu scrolls.

These ninjutsu scrolls were a standard reward for the new generation of clan members, as well as a way to showcase the clan's heritage and motivate them to contribute more to the clan.

Usually, every Uchiha clan member who could extract Chakra and showed potential to become a ninja could go claim a ninjutsu scroll.

However, obtaining additional ninjutsu scrolls typically required trading merits or equivalents.

Tobirama Senju hadn't founded the Ninja Academy yet; for now, clan ninjas were mostly self-sufficient, and there were no civilian ninjas to speak of.

Civilian ninjas would only begin to emerge after the Ninja Academy was established.

After all, without a Ninja Academy, it was nearly impossible for ordinary people to become ninjas.

Renye's current Chakra reserves were already enough to release some low-level ninjutsu, so he urgently needed a ninjutsu scroll to improve himself.

Ninjutsu was the most commonly used and crucial means of attack and defense for ninjas in battle.

Mastering a few powerful techniques would make him stronger.

Thinking this, Renye chatted with Shun Uchiha for a while, then took his leave and headed to the Director's office.

The bearded Director was visibly surprised to see Renye. "Renye, why are you back?"

Could it be that the boy was being bullied in the Senju Clan?

He began to regret letting Renye leave with the Senju brothers earlier, but there was no choice—Hashirama Senju was the Hokage.

Ever since Lord Madara defected, he could clearly sense the village's growing wariness toward the Uchiha.

Just as the Director was lost in thought, Renye spoke up. "Director, I'd like to ask you for a ninjutsu scroll."

The Director snapped back to attention, curious. "Renye, is your Chakra reserve sufficient now?"

"Don't worry, Director," Renye said confidently. "It's enough to release a few ninjutsu!"

Hearing this, the Director nodded approvingly, his eyes showing admiration. "Not bad. It seems you've been training diligently."

Renye's training speed was among the best in the orphanage, even rivaling some of the clan's prodigies.

Uchiha Clan children received specialized instruction from Jonin after age eight; before that, they were taught by family elders.

The orphanage was different—they had no parents to guide them, and the Director could only teach them in his spare time, making their progress naturally slower than normal Uchiha. There was no helping it.

"Renye, I hope you keep working hard in your training." The Director opened a drawer and pulled out a scroll.

"I will." Renye took the scroll, his expression solemn.

After bidding the Director farewell, Renye left the office.

Once Renye was gone, the Director sighed helplessly. "Ah, such a good kid. What a shame..."

If Renye hadn't been adopted by the Senju, he would have considered teaching him one-on-one. He really was a promising talent.

The Director knew full well that Renye wasn't valued in the Senju Clan, or he wouldn't have come back specifically to ask for a ninjutsu scroll.

Tobirama Senju was immensely powerful—how could he not have Fire Release ninjutsu scrolls?

"Maybe Lord Madara's way was the right one..."

Renye returned to the Senju Clan Compound with the scroll, eager to go back and learn ninjutsu.

"I wonder what ninjutsu it is?" Renye thought expectantly.

Just then, two slightly stocky kids suddenly jumped out in front of him, arms crossed, blocking the path completely.

The taller one lifted his chin, his face full of provocation.

"Hey, kid, you're the Uchiha that Lord Tobirama adopted?"

As for how they knew Renye's identity?

Of course, the Uchiha Fan Clan Crest on Renye's clothes gave him away.

That glaring clan crest made it hard not to recognize...

Renye frowned, a flicker of displeasure rising in him.

He hadn't expected to run into troublemakers. He was planning to go back and practice ninjutsu.

"Get lost. I don't have time to play house with you."

The two brats wouldn't let it go. The taller one struck first, swinging his fist as he charged.

Renye sidestepped lightly, dodging with ease. The taller one stumbled, nearly falling flat.

Seeing this, the shorter one pulled a kunai from his waist and stabbed wildly at Renye.

A cold glint flashed in Renye's eyes. He suddenly reached out and grabbed the other's wrist. The brat winced in pain, and the kunai clattered to the ground.

"You're really annoying, aren't you?" Renye showed no mercy, kicking the shorter one flying.

Since that bastard had drawn a weapon, Renye naturally wouldn't hold back.

The taller one recovered and charged again, but they were no match for Renye.

Before long, the two brats lay on the ground, wailing nonstop.

Renye picked up the kunai from the dirt and hurled it at the shorter one.

A sharp whoosh cut through the air. The kunai grazed the shorter brat's cheek, leaving a trail of blood, then buried itself halfway into the ground right beside his head, still quivering.

The shorter brat's face went pale with terror. He froze in place, not daring to make a sound.

One inch—he had been one inch from death!

The taller one was just as shaken by the sight, shrinking back, barely breathing.

This Uchiha was way too cruel and terrifying!

Renye brushed the dust off his clothes, looking down at them from above. His voice was icy, stripped of all emotion:

"If you come looking for trouble again, I'll kill you."

The two were scared out of their wits. They could tell Renye wasn't joking—he really would kill them!

Ignoring the pain in their bodies, they scrambled to their feet and fled as fast as they could.

Renye watched them go, then spread his hands helplessly. "Why make me resort to force?"

In the shadows.

Tobirama Senju watched the scene quietly, pulling out his notebook to jot things down.

On the cover was written: Uchiha Observation Manual.

Once Renye's figure had completely disappeared, Tobirama flickered into view before the two brats.

Seeing him arrive, they burst into sobs:

"Boo-hoo, Lord Tobirama, he was way too harsh..."

They were actors Tobirama had specially hired, meant to observe Uchiha Renye's reactions.

Tobirama comforted them. "Good work. Here's your pay."

With that, he pulled out a stack of bills and handed it to them.

"Hehe, thanks, Lord Tobirama."

The two brats took the money, their faces instantly brightening with smiles.

"That Uchiha brat... a tough one to handle..."

Tobirama stared at the notes in his book, his expression complicated.
