Kitagawa Gen defeated Nagato’s Akatsuki assault on Takigakure while Sasuke killed Itachi and awakened his Mangekyō Sharingan. As Konoha uncovered relics about Kaguya and the Sage’s sons, Obito began an operation against the Hyuga Clan to draw Kitagawa Gen away.

• Kitagawa Gen destroyed the giant Tenseigan’s power, killed the First Elder, and restored the moon before his Otsutsuki bloodline development rose to 58 percent.
• After three years of preparation, Nagato led the revived Akatsuki to capture the Seven-Tails, while Kitagawa Gen’s Divine Tree Source finished growing and raised his development to 68 percent.
• Kitagawa Gen and his Konoha team traveled to Takigakure as Nagato’s forces attacked the village and demanded the Seven-Tails.
