History

Don introduces himself as the Pure Cultivation Class teacher when the subject becomes part of the Gaokao. He tells students that strong grades could earn them admission to a key university, a subsidy during school, and a Civil Service Rank after graduation 446.

He leads He Zhao and two other students from Class 3-1 to the Pure Cultivation Class, where the group joins the other teachers and students 452. During instruction, Don uses his voice to guide students into Dhyana and demonstrates the Samadhi Mudra. He later finds the class practicing the Offering Seal and calls He Zhao into a separate room 451 453 457.

After Fuzhen flies into a rage, Zhang Song says Don is occupied with important matters. He Zhao suspects Don was caught in the incident and is either badly injured or dead, but the passage does not establish which 477.
