Background / History

According to the Miracle Alien, a girl named Emi and her dog were trapped beneath rubble after Ultraman Seven fought Gob in a city. The Miracle Alien rescued her, returned with her to search for her parents, and found that they had died; he then stayed with the orphaned girl as a companion before returning to his home planet. 213

As a Defense Team member, Emi showed early compassion toward Xiao Xue, supporting Qi Ming's effort to help the girl leave a village where she faced fear and prejudice. During a Zulurk Star Alien ambush, Emi shielded Xiao Xue, drew her Victory Hyper Gun, recorded the incident, and reported its danger to the team. 9

Emi was assigned and trusted with investigative work from the outset. Qi Ming specifically sought her help in locating war correspondent Kyosuke Kamiki because of her information-gathering ability. 10 Her work later uncovered evidence connected to her missing father, Sōbe Itsuki: the V99 spacecraft, Laboratory No. 66, and a wormhole experiment that had connected to an unknown dimension. 142
