Background

Akane Shinjo later reveals that she created Qi Ming’s world with Gridman’s help while searching for a candidate capable of enduring the Ultraman Arbitrary Key, making sound judgments in crises, and gathering forces of justice. She selected Qi Ming to help save the mixed universe from darkness. 348 349

Before receiving the Key, Qi Ming was a student at Handong University of Political Science and Law. He trained consistently in martial arts and conditioning, including daily ten-kilometer runs, push-ups, sit-ups, and pull-ups. 5 392

Qi Ming arrives in the mixed universe when Ultraman Seven is overwhelmed by monsters.
