George floated over to Hal and patted him on the shoulder with a cat paw.

"Based on my many years of experience traveling the universe, your potential is far greater than that of most other Green Lanterns. It just hasn't been awakened yet.

That's one of the reasons the Green Lantern ring chose you.

So don't doubt yourself. As long as you firmly believe you can do it, nothing will be too difficult for you."

"Alright, I'm in!"

Encouraged by George, Hal immediately felt capable again.

Though he still didn't think he was as impressive as George claimed, he figured that even if he couldn't safeguard peace throughout the universe, protecting peace on Earth should be no problem.

More importantly, he wouldn't be alone. There were Superman, Supercat, Batman, and Wonder Woman, and perhaps even more powerful people would join them later.

Maybe he really could give it a try.

And if it truly didn't work out, it wouldn't be too late to quit then.

"Good. I'll take you to meet the others."

With a flick of his tail, George teleported Hal directly into the Batcave beneath Gotham City.

At that moment, Batman had already persuaded the Flash to join, while Superman and Wonder Woman had returned empty-handed.

"Aquaman refused. He doesn't want to lose his current peaceful life," Superman spoke first.

He wasn't someone who liked forcing others, so once he had confirmed Aquaman's wishes, he stopped trying to persuade him.

"Cyborg refused as well, but I think he'll join us. He just needs some time."

Wonder Woman had seen Cyborg's psychological issues and was confident she could help him resolve them, because she had once suffered from similar issues herself.

Batman patted the Flash beside him.

"Introduce yourself."
