Parallax Attacks

The gods of this world were mainly divided into the Old Gods and the New Gods. The Old Gods referred to Earth's native deities, such as Zeus and the other gods of Mount Olympus.

The New Gods, meanwhile, were deities of Apokolips such as Darkseid, who would later invade Earth.

According to the legends of Themyscira, humanity on Earth was a new race created by Zeus in the likeness of the Old Gods.

He had these strong female warriors, immune to Ares's influence, spread love and compassion throughout the world and help humanity resist Ares's schemes.

Around 30,000 BCE, Darkseid led his Apocalypse demon army in an invasion of Earth.

Zeus and the other Old Gods gathered three forces—humanity, the Amazons, and Atlantis—to face the threat from Apokolips together.

The Green Lantern Corps also sent Green Lanterns to help.

In the end, Darkseid was defeated and fled Earth in disgrace with the Apocalypse demon army, leaving behind the three most important Mother Boxes of the New Gods.

Mother Boxes were the ultimate integration of New God technology.

Not only could they open long-distance teleportation passages, allowing the Apocalypse demon army to invade planets throughout the universe at will.

They could also rapidly transform conquered planets into Apokolips.
