Marry Yūhi Kurenai, Be the Second Hokage

Hyuga Ningyuan did not know that Yūhi Shinku had already noticed what he was doing, and even if he had known, he would not have been afraid.

He had already pulled Yūhi Kurenai into their class formation.

This class had clearly not been assigned at random. Hyuga Ningyuan spotted blond members of the Yamanaka Clan, chubby members of the Akimichi Clan, pineapple-headed members of the Nara Clan, sunglasses-wearing members of the Aburame Clan, and Uchiha Obito.

Before long, Kakashi was brought over by a teacher as well.

Only Nohara Rin and Might Guy had gone to other classes. Ningyuan guessed they would probably be reassigned according to talent later on, at which point they would end up in the same class.

At eight in the morning, all the students had arrived. Then, the Third Hokage appeared punctually on the platform before the formation.

"Hello, students. I am the principal of the academy and the Hokage of the village, Hiruzen Sarutobi. I am delighted to see another new class."

"Where leaves dance, fire endures."

"I hope all of you study diligently in the coming years and grow into stronger people."

Hiruzen Sarutobi was forty-six this year, right in his prime. He was broad-shouldered and vigorous, with an exceptionally sharp gaze.

Accustomed to seeing the elderly Hiruzen, Hyuga Ningyuan found it somewhat strange to suddenly see him young.

Still, this Hiruzen Sarutobi was not like the ones in so many fanfics, who would speak for hours at a time. He declared the speech over after just over ten minutes.

Thinking about it, that made sense. They were a group of five-year-olds; no matter how much he said, they might not understand it, and would only find him long-winded.

Next, the teachers led each class of students into their respective classrooms in an orderly fashion, where they selected seats and then helped several students carry and distribute textbooks.

By the time all the miscellaneous matters were settled, it was already past nine in the morning.

Hyuga Ningyuan flipped through the three textbooks in his hands: Standard Language, mathematics, and Shinobi Knowledge.

The first was for learning to read, beginning with the fifty-sound chart and continuing through various commonly used characters and words.

However, Hyuga Ningyuan had already learned these things at home. Combined with his adult way of thinking, he had basically recognized everything after flipping through it from beginning to end.

Mathematics was even simpler, at an elementary school level. The entire book went from recognizing numbers to addition and subtraction, and then it ended.

Hyuga Ningyuan opened the third book, the Shinobi Knowledge textbook.

As the name suggested, the book taught shinobi knowledge. It was divided into three chapters: Chakra, Hand Seals, and Meridians.

"Chakra is the product of combining physical energy extracted from 130 trillion cells with spiritual energy. Meridians are the pathways through which Chakra flows, while hand seals are methods of channeling Chakra."

"For the first extraction of Chakra, one must press both hands together and mobilize as much physical energy as possible. Afterward, extracting Chakra only requires forming the rat seal!"

"So there really was no such thing as a Chakra Refining Technique? As long as someone pressed their hands together, they could try extracting Chakra?" Upon first reading this, Hyuga Ningyuan found it rather unbelievable. Was this not a little too simple?

"It seemed the clan never taught any Chakra Refining Technique either. The method of Chakra extraction I learned was the same as the one in the textbook, and there was no such thing as an exclusive Hyuga Clan Chakra Refining Technique." Hyuga Ningyuan compared the textbook's knowledge with the teachings he had received in the clan and found almost no difference between them.

In other words, Chakra extraction really was that simple?

"I'll try it later!" Hyuga Ningyuan had actually wanted to extract some Chakra to experiment with as soon as he woke up, but as a beginner, extracting Chakra required a quiet environment and took a long time. He had been busy eating breakfast, washing up, and going to school, so he could only put it aside for the time being.

He could not try it now either, because the teacher had already entered.

"Hello, everyone. I am your homeroom teacher. My name is Teruhi Sōun!" The newcomer was the Chunin who had just received Hyuga Ningyuan and Yūhi Kurenai. He was less than 1.65 meters tall and thinly built, and did not look like he was even twenty yet.

"I like apples and dislike spicy food. As for my dream, I want to become a great Ninja Academy teacher!"

After writing his name on the blackboard, Teruhi Sōun said, "Next, everyone should introduce yourselves as well. Just follow what I said: talk about your likes, dislikes, future dreams, and so on. Hmm, we'll start with you!"

He pointed at the student sitting by the door.

That student was not nervous at all and stood up immediately. "I am Kotetsu Hagane. I like cleanliness and dislike messy things. My dream is to become someone everyone can rely on!"

"You really did become one. With you guarding the gate, even Pain would not dare pass through!" Hyuga Ningyuan quipped.

"I am Izumo Kamizuki. I like sweets and dislike spicy food. My dream is the same as Kotetsu's: to become someone everyone can rely on!"

Hyuga Ningyuan stroked his chin, wondering if he should do something amusing later and say that his dream was to become a dancer.

After thinking it over, he decided against it. He could do that, but he had better not say it, or he would stand out far too much.

Come to think of it, why did so few people dream of becoming Hokage? That was not normal!

"I am Uchiha Obito. My dream is to become Hokage!"

There it was, there it was! Finally, someone had said that his dream was to become Hokage!

To be fair, he was actually quite close to the Hokage Position. After all, he was Minato's disciple. Once Minato was done, would it not be Obito's turn next?

"Kakashi. Things I like: none. Things I dislike: none. As for my dream, I don't want to say!" After Obito, it was Kakashi's turn.

"Didn't you just say nothing at all?" Obito asked irritably.

"Heh!" Kakashi glanced at him from the corner of his eye, then looked away.

"Bastard!" Obito clenched his fists and stood up directly. "What are you acting so smug for?!"

Kakashi could not be bothered to respond. As a shinobi, was it not only natural to protect one's own information?

He came from a prestigious family with a deep heritage, and he was a genius himself. To be honest, he looked down on the classmates in this class a little.

In his view, he would not be at the academy for long anyway, so there was no need to get along well with his classmates.

Then everyone remembered his attitude, which was even more pretentious than an Uchiha's. Some admired him, some refused to accept it, and some wanted to challenge him.

Hyuga Ningyuan watched silently, then began considering what he should say when it was his turn.
