Without warning, the ground beneath the group who had entered the Mirror World exploded violently in the center of the rooftop. A savage shockwave erupted along with a deafening blast and bullet-like shards of stone, striking everyone without mercy.
"Ah!" Amid cries of alarm, the stone fragments, as deadly as bullets, slammed into the group. The powerful impact sent the seven people—one man and six women—flying apart, scattering them across the rooftop.
"Convert all magical power into physical protection! Full physical protection!"
Illya and Miyu were likewise sent flying by the violent shockwave and flying rubble. They crashed onto the ground, their pretty faces turning pale as dizziness overwhelmed them.
Fortunately, Ruby and Sapphire had activated their physical protection functions immediately. Illya and Miyu only suffered the initial impact, while all damage from the rubble and blows was blocked.
Hinagiku and Mikoto were in the same situation. Caught off guard, they were struck by the shockwave and debris from the exploding ground, sent flying back in an extremely disheveled state. However, they adjusted themselves in midair and landed on the ground, rather than crashing down like Illya and Miyu.
The Mobile Churches on the two girls emitted strange ripples that outsiders could not perceive, perfectly blocking the shockwave and the flying debris.
