SEED-Trapped

The Archangel had barely entered Artemis Military Base when it was surrounded by a large number of Moebius units.

A large number of soldiers carrying submachine guns entered the Archangel and took control of everyone inside.

Thor Knie put on a bewildered expression and asked,

"Captain, what is going on?"

Mwu Lamias immediately looked shocked and asked the officer who had just inspected the ship,

"Major, this..."

The major replied expressionlessly,

"There is no need to be nervous. Please remain calm, Captain Lamias.

This is routine procedure!"

Then a large number of soldiers carrying submachine guns arrived on the bridge and surrounded everyone there.

Everyone on the bridge was held at gunpoint. Then one of the soldiers with a submachine gun shouted,

"Nobody move."

Mwu Lamias shouted, "What are you doing?"

Natale Badgiruel asked,

"Major Bidulf, I hope you can explain why this is happening.

Please explain!"

Major Bidulf replied dismissively,

"These are security measures! We are merely sealing off control of the warship and restricting its weapons."

Natale Badgiruel continued in confusion,

"Sealing it off? Why?"

A soldier suddenly stepped forward and pointed his gun at Natale Badgiruel. Major Bidulf continued dismissively,

"Your ship has not been registered, nor does it carry our military's identification signal.

Considering the circumstances, I allowed you to enter the port.

But unfortunately, you have not yet been recognized as friendly forces."

Natale Badgiruel argued reasonably,

"But..."

Before she could finish, Major Bidulf cut her off.

"This is an important military base. That is why measures of this level are being implemented. I hope you can understand."

Mwu Lamias and Natale Badgiruel could only fall silent.

With his hands behind his back, Major Bidulf continued,

"Now then, officers, please come with me. There are some things I would like to ask you."

Major Bidulf took Mwu Lamias, Natale Badgiruel, and Mu La Flaga away from the Archangel.

Everyone else, including Thor Knie, was locked in the cafeteria.

In the cafeteria, Sai Argyle asked a soldier from the Archangel beside him,

"Isn't the Eurasia Federation on our side? Aren't they on good terms with the Atlantic Federation?"

The soldier beside him replied, "That is not the issue."

Another soldier sighed. "It is all because of the missing identification signal."

Thor Knie also pretended not to know anything and asked the soldier from before,

"Can the lack of an identification signal alone really cause a problem like this?"

The soldier beside him said helplessly, "Apparently, it really can be a problem."

Sergeant Madoc from the maintenance crew could not help saying,

"It seems the real problem lies elsewhere."

An entire morning passed, yet Mwu Lamias, Natale Badgiruel, and Mu La Flaga, who had been taken away, still had not returned.

The soldiers in the cafeteria continued discussing the matter. Kira Yamato was also worried about the Strike Gundam and what Mu La Flaga had told him earlier.

That afternoon, Major Bidulf returned to the Archangel and headed straight for the cafeteria, where he addressed everyone.

"Where are this ship's MS pilot and technical personnel?"

Everyone on the Archangel remained silent.

Major Bidulf's adjutant said sternly, "The pilot and technical personnel should be among you, shouldn't they?"

Kira Yamato had just been about to stand when Sergeant Madoc pressed him back down, telling him not to act rashly.

A soldier from the Archangel shouted at him,

"Why are you asking us? Is it because the captain and the others did not tell you, or because you could not get it out of them?"

The adjutant grabbed the Archangel soldier by the collar and snarled, "What...?" Then he tried to hit him.

Major Bidulf stopped him, putting on the act of a good man as he said,

"I see. You must be outstanding soldiers specially selected by the Atlantic Federation to take part in a secret project, then?"

A soldier from the Archangel asked, "What do you intend to do with the Strike Gundam?"

Major Bidulf replied calmly,

"We do not intend to do anything to it.

It is just that... before its official public unveiling, I would like the privilege of seeing it. Who is the pilot?"

The Archangel soldier replied, "If you have questions, ask the captain."

"We saw the battle just now as well. The only one capable of handling Moebius Zero with such proficiency is Captain Mu La Flaga.

I know that better than anyone."

Major Bidulf slowly walked over to Miriaria Haw and abruptly seized her.

Thor Knie rose tensely, wanting to take Major Bidulf down.

But he knew he could not act rashly yet. They had guns, and he could not beat them. All he could do was flick a finger and attach New DG Cells to them, then settle the score once chaos broke out.

Major Bidulf wore a crafty expression as he said,

"Though I do not believe the pilot would be a woman, considering that even this ship's captain is a woman..."

Then he forcefully twisted Miriaria Haw's arm behind her back. Miriaria Haw cried out in pain.

Kira Yamato could not hold himself back any longer. He stood and shouted,

"Stop! You are too despicable. I am the Gundam pilot you are looking for."

Major Bidulf released Miriaria Haw's hand, walked over to Kira Yamato, and said,

"I understand that you want to protect her, but can a child like you operate an MS? Stop talking nonsense."

Then he immediately threw a punch at Kira Yamato.

Kira Yamato quickly dodged, then threw Major Bidulf to the ground with an over-the-shoulder throw.

"I have no reason to let you hit me."

Thor silently gave Kira Yamato a thumbs-up and shouted in his heart, Nice one. Serves you right. Who told you to bully my girlfriend? If I did not want to make too much of a disturbance right now, and if I were not worried about endangering Miriaria's life and affecting my plan to get Moebius, I would have already made the New DG Cells attached to you flare up and left you begging for life but unable to die. Scum. Trash.

The Artemis soldiers rushed forward. Kira Yamato wanted to keep fighting, but Sergeant Madoc held him back.

Sai Argyle also tried to step forward to mediate, but the adjutant beside him shoved him aside. He happened to crash into Frey Alsta's arms.

Seeing her boyfriend get hit and crash into her, Frey Alsta said furiously,

"Stop! What Kira said is true. That child is the MS pilot."

The adjutant said to her, "Do not talk nonsense."

Frey Alsta argued reasonably, "I am not lying to you. That child is a Coordinator."
