Background / History

Nami began as Thor Klune's mutated DG Cell-based nano armor and support intelligence during his visit to the Mobile Fighter G Gundam world. She controlled the Devil Gundam's resources, created two aircraft, obtained money and supplies, and implemented Thor's requested limiter by reducing his strength and speed to near-normal levels while increasing his weight by 28 kilograms. 19

After Thor returned to Heliopolis, Nami infiltrated the water system to alter his utility records. She soon became central to his preparations in the Gundam SEED world: modifying Miriallia Haw's physique and lifespan, distributing DG Cells for intelligence gathering, assimilating military equipment, and constructing Satellite Xerxes' processing core. 20 21 33

Her operational scope expanded from armor support to covert action and battlefield control. Nami copied mobile-suit data, hacked surveillance networks, created replacement identities, managed infiltrations, and operated captured units. During the Crimson Sea battle, she remotely controlled Thor's Reconnaissance Gear through manifested controls, but her incomplete assimilation and delayed reactions contributed to the Gear being heavily damaged. 119

Thor upgraded Nami with the Universal Dark Alloy Armor, Quantum Computer Haro Edition, and High-Performance Electronic Brain. The upgrade substantially improved her computing power, New DG Cell control, manufacturing speed, command capacity, and mobile-suit piloting assistance. 275 276 302

By the Gundam 00 arc, Nami had received a Humagear body modeled after Nami from King of Pirates, allowing her to accompany Thor physically.
