Background

The Asura God originated as one of five seeds formed when the God of Creation completed the Divine Realm. The seeds of Kindness, Evil, Life, Destruction, and Asura eventually developed intelligence and became the Divine Realm’s five foundational God Kings. Asura’s role was to stand at the center and maintain order between the opposing powers. 342

In the ancient conflict with the Dragon God, Asura was responsible for splitting the Dragon God into the Golden Dragon King and Silver Dragon King. He could only accomplish this because the Dragon God had regained his sanity and suppressed his own power; Asura acknowledges that the Dragon God otherwise surpassed ordinary God Kings. 298

Following the Dragon God’s death, Asura upheld the restriction against soul beasts becoming gods, believing another Dragon Clan revival could destabilize the Divine Realm. He nevertheless later arranged the Golden Dragon King’s release under a seal, intending to use the situation to test and prepare a potential successor connected to the Dragon God’s legacy. 298
