Background / History

Following the collapse of the Morning Dawn Dynasty, the Azure Plane's main world divided into the Eastern and Western Worlds. After prolonged warfare, compromise, and negotiation, the Eastern World formed the Great Cloud Dynasty, while the Western World fragmented into the Brest, Baigulun, and Kaderet Dynasties. Any one Western dynasty was weaker than the Great Cloud Dynasty, though the three together could restrain it. 420

Yun Province was the founding base of the dynasty. Its founding emperor, backed by the Ten Great Sects and Eight Great Families, conquered the Eastern Main World and established the imperial court. The Bai Family later obtained the Emperor-Grade Secret Treasure Moyin Duo Throne, allied with the sects and families, and rose to the throne after suppressing rival powers. 560 589

The dynasty was initially governed in practice by the Bai imperial family alongside the Ten Great Sects and Eight Great Families, whose disciples infiltrated every level of the court. As the Bai Family accumulated strength, it sought to remove these autonomous powers, reclaim their resources, and centralize control. 573

Under Emperor Bai Wuqing, the court turned on its former allies. The Battle Demon Sect's members within dynastic territory were arrested, the Ten Thousand Snow Gate was crushed, and several other major sects either fled the Azure Plane or submitted. Yang Feng's Arrival and Court Summons

Yang Feng first entered the dynasty through Hague Port, where he encountered its advanced transport, commercial infrastructure, registration system, and vast disparity in cultivation standards compared with the Durando Subcontinent. 196 197

After Yang Feng's performance in Time Sky City, the dynasty issued a royal command summoning him to Yun Jing City. The summons reflected the court's interest in recruiting exceptional Moonlight Wizards as future pillars of the state. 560

Purge of the Ten Great Sects

Following Bai Yunlie's death, Bai Wuqing mobilized the dynasty's war machine against the Battle Demon Sect and its allies. The campaign began with the destruction of the Ten Thousand Snow Gate and expanded into a broader removal of the Ten Great Sects from the Eastern Main World. 589 591

Conflict with Undead Mountain

Yang Feng's Undead Mountain seized Yu Province, killing General Ling Guang and devastating the provincial military command with starship bombardment and Main Battle Robots. 705

The dynasty responded by assembling four marshals and two princes—six Cosmic Sea mighty beings—in Bright Moon Province. It also threatened Undead Mountain through envoy Bai Yuxian, demanding that Yang Feng's Lei Ming identity answer in Yun Jing City. 706

After suffering military setbacks and facing pressure from the Demon Territory, Bai Wuqing compromised. Undead Mountain was pardoned, Yang Feng withdrew from Bright Moon Province, and he received materials and the title Duke of the North. 710

Floating Continent Contention

The dynasty later contested a Heaven and Earth Divine Root branch Floating Continent against the Kaderet Dynasty. Bai Wuqing arrived aboard the Nine Dragon Ship with thirty-six Cosmic Sea grandmasters; the dynasty additionally mobilized 152 Cosmic Sea-level war machines. 770 771

Gumana Universe Invasion

When the Gumana Universe invaded the Cloud Sea Plane, the Bai Family sought assistance from the four great sects, including the Battle Demon Sect. Yang Feng agreed to help despite past hostilities, while Bai Wuqing used the Moyin Duo Throne to command Yang Feng's fleet into battle. 870
