Background / History

Li Chang'an was originally a web novelist from Earth. After being struck and killed by a car, he transmigrated into an ordinary merchant family in Spirit City, where he lived peacefully for six years before his Martial Soul Awakening. 2

At age six, Chang'an awakened the Pangu Axe and Eastern Emperor Bell, becoming a Twin Martial Soul possessor with full innate Soul Power. The pressure of the Pangu Axe frightened those in the awakening hall, while the appearance of both Martial Souls reduced the testing crystal to powder. His awakening also activated the Strongest Show-Off System, which rewards him with points when others are shocked or impressed by him. 2 4 8

His potential immediately drew the attention of Spirit Hall's Cardinal Archbishops and Pope Bibi Dong. Ghost escorted him to the Papal Hall, where Bibi Dong examined his Martial Souls and accepted him as her disciple. 5 8

Under Bibi Dong's support, Chang'an acquired extraordinarily high-level Soul Rings, condensed a Soul Core, and developed far beyond the standard pace of a Soul Master.
