The arc left him arriving at Horizon Sea Pavilion as its defenders faced dwindling supplies and the loss of Senior Sister Lu.

• Lin Xuan left the East Sea after entrusting Shangguan Ling and Shangguan Yan with treasures and a jade pendant, then attempted to use Nine Immortals Palace’s Ancient Teleportation Array to reach another interface.
• The array sent Lin Xuan back to the Human World, where he learned that the Ancient Demons had devastated Cloud Province and destroyed several of its great powers.
• Lin Xuan hurried to Linglong Valley and found Baisuan Pavilion under siege, with Lu Ying'er preparing to preserve its lineage after its evacuation array was destroyed.

After restoring the Demonic Fate Sword and settling a challenge to Baisuan Pavilion, he rallied the gathered forces and set their departure for three days later.

• Liu Ying sent the Tianlan Island Teleportation Array to be destroyed and went alone to seek resources for the sect’s protective formation, while Lin Xuan found Horizon Sea Pavilion’s disciples besieged and killed the Iron-Winged Demon and his army.
• Lin Xuan and Liu Ying reached Yingzhou Island, where Lin Xuan killed the Flame Demon and Stone Demon, then learned that the Ancient Demons were searching You Province and suspected they sought the Blue Star Sea.

• At Linglong Valley, Lin Xuan learned that Fairy Hongling had ascended and that the Ancient Demons’ headquarters was in conquered Sky Continent, while the demons prepared for Devil Ancestor Bingpo’s Split Soul to descend.

• Lin Xuan led the allied army into Heavenly Province, fought through the Ancient Demons, and discovered that Bingpo had awakened her Split Soul by sacrificing her followers.
• Lin Xuan battled Bingpo, endured her domain and summoned demons, then used the Five Dragon Seal to destroy her Split Soul and the two Ancient Demons she had created.

Lin Xuan and Peacock uncovered the Ink Moon Heaven Witch Art, refined True Spirit blood, and returned to the Spirit World, where a True Spirit separated them. Lin Xuan survived and was taken in by Cloud Hidden Sect disciples, while Yuanyuan faced a dangerous chance to inherit the Peacock Great Wisdom King's power.

• Lin Xuan and Peacock activated the ancient formation with the Heavenly Witch Goddess statue and recorded the Ink Moon Heaven Witch Art’s Lower Chapter.
