History

Creation and early growth

Nuwa created the Human Race from Innate Soil and Three Lights Divine Water, declaring them a race without innate malice that would uphold the order of the Primordial Wilderness. The Heavenly Dao acknowledged her oath and bestowed immense creation merit, elevating Nuwa to Sainthood. The newly born humans received a share of that merit despite their initially low cultivation. 57

Because the first humans lacked the ability to protect themselves from beasts and low-ranking demons, Nuwa entrusted them to Haotian while she departed to establish her Dao Field. Haotian accepted responsibility for their protection and brought them to Penglai Immortal Island. 58

The race multiplied at an unprecedented rate, spreading from Penglai to plains and river valleys throughout the Primordial World. Though physically frail and with most individuals unable to attain immortality, their population became the largest among the races of the Great Desolation. 66

The Heavenly Dao repeatedly rewarded human contributions. Suirenshi's fire, Youchao Shi's houses, and Ziyi Shi's clothing brought merit that raised the Three Ancestors to Peak Grand Unity Golden Immortal; later inventions such as farming tools likewise produced merit and new Grand Unity Golden Immortals. 66

Demon Race calamity

Dijun ordered a full purge of humanity, fearing the Human Race's rising destiny and its connections with the Witch Clan. Demon forces massacred tribes to harvest human souls for artifact refinement. 89 91

Human tribes resisted despite overwhelming losses. Chieftains and ordinary tribespeople protected evacuation routes, while survivors fled toward the Ancestral Land. Nearly a quadrillion humans died over more than ten thousand years, but human resistance inflicted significant casualties on the attacking demons. 92

Haotian had previously supplied cultivation methods, spiritual liquids, talismans, and defensive resources. Fengyin, Lingxiao, and Youming also established the Two Principles Guardian Array around the Ancestral Land, using the Chaos Yin Yang Diagram as its formation eye. 89

The Dragon, Phoenix, and Qilin Clans, along with figures such as Zhenyuanzi and the West Queen Mother, intervened to shield human survivors. Nuwa, Haotian, and Laozi later pressured the Demon Race into retreating and providing compensation. 92 93

Following the massacre, the Human Race swore before the Heavenly Dao that it would not coexist with the Demon Race members responsible for the slaughter until one side was destroyed. The oath repaired the fractures in Human Race Destiny and transformed it into a resilient red fortune. 94

Rise of the Human Emperors

After five thousand Yuanhui of growth, the Heavenly Dao declared that eight leaders—the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors—would guide humanity's rise, unify its tribes, and establish order. 135

Fuxi became humanity's first Co-Lord after establishing marriage rituals, music, livestock domestication, education, civil governance, territorial divisions, shared skills, and unified measurements. 146

Fuxi transferred the Co-Lord position to Shennong, whose management of the Jiangshui Tribe demonstrated his understanding of agriculture and livelihood. The succession received Heavenly Dao merit and strengthened the race's officials and leaders. 163 164

Xuanyuan succeeded Shennong after Chi You renounced competition for the throne and chose to serve as a protector of humanity. Chi You led the Jiuli Tribe toward integration with the Human Race rather than pursuing the Human Emperor position. 185 187

Cangjie created a written script for humanity, allowing agricultural knowledge, cultivation methods, and history to be preserved across generations. He was recognized as the Ancestor of Literature. 197 199

Dynasties and unification

Da Yu supervised the creation of the Nine Provinces Barrier, which fused the Origin of the Nine Sons of the Ancestral Dragon with Human Race Fortune. The barrier suppresses or destroys unauthorized demons, monsters, and evil spirits entering Human Territory. 219

After abdicating to his son Qi, Da Yu founded the Xia Dynasty, the first unified dynasty in Human Race history. Qi began his reign by overseeing migration, farming, irrigation, and border defense. 220

Much later, Ying Zheng ended the divided era of the Human Territory and established Great Qin as a fully unified human dynasty. His rule gathered scattered Earth Veins, dragon veins, and Human Race Destiny into a single national foundation. 395

Ying Zheng instituted one script, one track gauge, and unified weights and measures. These policies standardized written inheritance, transport through Earth Vein spirit tracks, spiritual-energy standards, spirit-material classifications, and cultivation benchmarks. 395

Characteristics

The Human Race was created to be good by nature and free of innate malice. Its defining strengths are collective resilience, attachment to its people, and an ability to turn hardship, invention, governance, and sacrifice into merit and destiny. 57 66 392
