Background / History

Lu Kong was originally an ordinary man from the twenty-first century. After transmigrating into the Primordial Wilderness, he awakened as the consciousness within Flower-Fruit Mountain's Five-Colored Divine Stone and realized that he had become the stone embryo destined to become Sun Wukong. Knowing the predetermined path of havoc, suppression, and Buddhist control, he resolved to seize his own fate rather than become a pawn. 399 401

After five hundred years of active cultivation within the stone, Lu Kong was born with an exceptionally pure Innate Dao Body. His emergence drew the worship of Flower-Fruit Mountain's monkey troop and the attention of the Heavenly Court, Buddhism, Mystic Gate powers, and a fleeting demonic presence. 402

He discovered a hidden legacy within Water Curtain Cave containing a spiritual peach, the Numinous Insight Mystic Scripture, and the Thunder-Calling Pearl. He treated the inheritance as a debt of gratitude, vowed to repay its benefactor, and used the resources to establish his cultivation foundation. 404

Initially, Lu Kong tried to avoid Buddhism's arrangements by remaining on Flower-Fruit Mountain and cultivating in seclusion.
