Background

Liu Jun began as a naval aviation cadet, pursuing every available flight opportunity to build Flight Experience. His training results were already ahead of his peers despite his initially low skill levels, and he was confident of passing his Daytime Carrier Qualification Certification 2.

During his certification flight, he became the nearest available aircraft to a pirate assault on a drilling platform. He attacked the pirate speedboats with his J-15, destroyed most of them, and handed the surviving pirates to the Coast Guard rather than prolonging the engagement for personal flight experience 4.
