• Leonard gave Lin Mo a detailed list of recommended quests and urged him to seek help from the Lion Adventurer Group whenever he needed it.

• Lin Mo learned from a carriage shop clerk that Areas 10 and 11 were unstable and that monster populations were causing conflicts elsewhere, but he kept his accepted quest in Area 11 for later.
• Lin Mo traveled with Ally, Phini, and Shefiliya through the Serene Forest, where Ally gained Charge Punch through Co-Cultivation and the group fought several low-level monsters.

After the party completed its quest and camped for the night, Lin Mo comforted Phini, who admitted she deeply missed Silver Creek City and the people she had left behind.

• Lin Mo found a Goblin patrol of more than two hundred and attacked it alone, killing most of the group while the others caught up.
• Lin Mo maxed Consecutive Thrust, learned Meteor Stab, and raised his Strength enough to advance to Warrior Level 8.
• Lin Mo and the party hunted another Goblin group to finish their quest, left Area 8, and camped for the night.

Lin Mo and his companions reached Area 11 and found Bloodmane Wolves attacking the Petrifying Lizards. He joined the fight, then turned on both sides to complete the mission, and the monsters were all killed.

• Ally tracked the Petrifying Lizards toward Area 10, where she smelled blood and led the group to a battle.
• Lin Mo hurried ahead and found more than a dozen Bloodmane Wolves surrounding four or five injured Petrifying Lizards.
• Lin Mo killed two Bloodmane Wolves with Whiplash Kick, raising the skill to Level 5, then used Ferocious Charge Fist to kill another wolf.
• Lin Mo stabbed a Petrifying Lizard, revealing that he had not come to help either side and throwing the battle into chaos.
• Shefiliya pursued and killed the fleeing monsters, and all the Bloodmane Wolves and Petrifying Lizards ended up dead.

• Lin Mo's Ferocious Charge Fist reached Level 5 as the group traveled back through Serene Forest.
• The group rode the carriage pulled by tamed Gale Steeds back to Fagard City, resting along the way while Shefiliya kept watch.
• Lin Mo and his companions returned the carriage, then went to the Adventurer's Guild and submitted their spoils to settle the mission.
• Deke greeted Lin Mo at the Guild and said he was conflicted about looking for a mission.

Lin Mo joined Deke’s team for a C-rank mission scheduled for the morning after tomorrow, then shared out the group’s earnings and planned equipment and skill upgrades. Back at the inn, Laina announced she had found a garden to rent for her planting research, and Lin Mo went to answer a late-night doorbell.

• Deke asked Lin Mo to join a team for his difficult C-rank promotion mission, and they agreed to meet at the Association the morning after tomorrow.
• Lin Mo’s group collected 5,381 Gold Coins and 48 Silver Coins from their completed missions, put 4,000 Gold Coins into team funds, and divided the remainder among Lin Mo, Ally, and Phini.

• Lin Mo decided to buy another Priest skill so his Priest profession could rise to Level 10, and he planned to do so at the Association the next morning.
• Lin Mo and Ally spent the evening practicing [Co-Cultivation], and Ally reached Level 4.

• Lin Mo’s Priest class rose from level 5 to level 10, greatly increasing his attributes and granting healing, shield, and buff bonuses.
• Lin Mo killed the monsters along the caravan route so quickly that the other adventurers grew accustomed to relying on him, while his Grab skill reached level 3.
• The caravan camped for the night, and Lin Mo shared a meal with Ally, Phini, and Shefiliya before Deke worried about crossing Blackwater Marsh the next day.

• Lin Mo overheard Glenn and a man in the carriage discuss taking a young master to the Duke's Mansion in the Royal Capital, then kept the discovery to himself.
• The group spent the night keeping watch on the caravan, and Shefiliya reflected on how Lin Mo's abilities had strengthened her.
• The caravan entered Blackwater Marsh, where Lin Mo used [Meteor Stab] to kill Mud Monsters and steadily raised the skill's level.

Lin Mo and Deke fought off a Swamp Earthworm and a Rotten Giant Frog as the caravan traveled through Blackwater Marsh, where Lord-class Monsters appeared unusually often. The party reached the most dangerous stretch near the marsh’s Core Area, and Lin Mo remained uneasy as the caravan turned deeper into it.

• Deke and Lin Mo killed a Level 7 Swamp Earthworm after it attacked the convoy from underground, and Lin Mo extracted its Earth Element crystal.
• A Rotten Giant Frog seized a carriage with its tongue, but Lin Mo severed the tongue and Deke finished the monster off.
• Lin Mo and Deke worried that Lord-class Monsters were appearing too frequently and were unusually powerful, though the following stretch held only weaker monsters.
• Deke warned the adventurers that they were approaching the mission’s most dangerous area, and the caravan turned toward the deeper reaches of Blackwater Marsh.

Lin Mo saved the caravan from a colossal Rotting Swamp Lurker by freezing it with Frost Storm empowered by the Frost Dragon Scale Sword. He then chose to attack the wounded monster, and Deke and the black-clad man joined him while the others remained behind.

• The convoy entered the deepest, most dangerous stretch of Blackwater Marsh, where the black ground and marsh fog made everyone tense.
• A huge Rotting Swamp Lurker disguised itself as the ground and rose beneath the convoy, swallowing carriages and several people.
• Lin Mo used Frost Storm and activated Frost Dragon's Breath to freeze the monster, giving the survivors time to escape onto open ground.
• The black-clad man secretly escorted the young master away, while Phini healed Lin Mo and the others regrouped.
• Lin Mo refused to abandon the mission and announced that he would kill the Rotting Swamp Lurker; Deke and the black-clad man joined him.

Lin Mo, Deke, and a black-robed Assassin destroyed the Rotting Swamp Lurker and recovered the caravan’s horses and carriages. As the caravan continued through the dangerous area, Lin Mo gained a level in Meteor Stab and watched the Assassin, who remained conflicted about whether to act against him.

• Lin Mo explained that the Rotting Swamp Lurker’s core was its weak point and attacked until he could locate it.
• Lin Mo found the core, and the black-robed Assassin and Deke joined him in striking it, killing the monster.
• The monster exploded into black mud, but Lin Mo cleaned Deke and the Assassin, and the group recovered the carriages and horses.
• Lin Mo examined the monster’s core, earned 300 proficiency points, and raised Meteor Stab to Level 6.
• The caravan hurried onward while Lin Mo kept watch on the Assassin, who wondered whether he could succeed against Lin Mo.

Lin Mo and Deke’s caravan was attacked by an assassin, and the arrival of Grimm and Benlo Preston revealed a plot by the Jade Merchant Guild and Duke Ster Morin to replace Benlo and take over the Preston Family. Benlo planned to continue posing as the impostor and use the scheme against the Morin Family, while Glenn agreed to cooperate.

• A black-robed Assassin attacked Lin Mo near the edge of Blackwater Marsh, but Lin Mo’s clone tricked him and Lin Mo killed him with [Meteor Stab].
• Grimm arrived with Benlo Preston and ordered his people to surround the merchant caravan, surprising Lin Mo and Deke.
• Benlo explained that his mother, the Jade Merchant Guild, and Duke Ster Morin had planned to replace him with his half-brother and seize control of the Preston Family.
• Benlo revealed that he had learned the plot from Duke Morin’s wife, contacted Grimm, and intended to play along rather than expose the scheme immediately.
• Benlo let the impostor escape so he could continue posing as him, and Glenn agreed to cooperate with Benlo to protect himself.

Benlo, Lin Mo, and Deke agreed to cooperate against the Morin Family, and Glenn persuaded the caravan to cover up Benlo’s escape. Lin Mo maxed out Meteor Stab and gained the Epic-level skill Magic Light Piercing Kill before the group completed the journey to the Royal Capital and celebrated their mission.

• Benlo explained his plan to Lin Mo and Deke, who agreed to cooperate with him against the Morin Family.
• Glenn persuaded the caravan members to support the cover story and dealt with anyone who resisted.
• Lin Mo maxed out Meteor Stab, gained Magic Light Piercing Kill, and chose the Accumulation evolution path.

After learning Ally’s Frost Slash through Co-Cultivation, Lin Mo tested whether he could use the ice-bloodline skill and began investigating how to combine Blood Qi with mana. A fleeting compression in his layered energy suggested a path toward a new power he called Demonic Energy, which could open the way to several hybrid professions.

• Lin Mo learned Ally’s Frost Slash after Co-Cultivation reached Level 2, then tested it using Blood Qi and mana but could only produce an ordinary slash or a spell-like imitation.
• Lin Mo struggled to make Blood Qi and mana cooperate until Shefiliya’s braids gave him the idea to weave the energies together in complex sequences.
• Lin Mo repeatedly rearranged and layered the two energies while attempting to operate Frost Slash, and briefly compressed the diffuse energy before it sprang apart.

• Lin Mo went to Bainlo's Preston Forge branch and asked him to find a master blacksmith to forge Mithril Gloves.
• Bainlo introduced Lin Mo to Andre, and Lin Mo discovered that Andre's son Edgar was the blacksmith he had known in Roland Town.

• Deke selected three missions, and Lin Mo’s team jointly accepted them with Deke’s team: eliminate Rock Golems, eradicate Crystal Devouring Worms, and investigate a Crystallized Spider Nest.
• Lin Mo and the others traveled to Giantstone Mine, where he killed monsters along the road and rescued a struggling adventurer team by defeating their attackers with Ferocious Charge Fist.
• After repeatedly using Ferocious Charge Fist, Lin Mo raised it to level 6, gained Strength, and learned the evolved skill Mountain Shaking Fist, which could knock back weaker enemies.
• Deke spoke with the mining camp’s personnel, who provided information and arranged a guide to the Rock Golems in Area 2.

Lin Mo led the group into the Giant Stone Mine, where he discovered thirteen Rock Golems and began fighting them. After defeating them and evolving Grab into Assault Capture, he reached 102 base Strength and advanced from Warrior Level 9 to Level 10.

• Lin Mo sent a Shadow Split clone into the mine and found thirteen Rock Golems, whose strongest member was only Threat Level 5.
• Lin Mo switched places with his clone, killed a Rock Golem with Mountain Shaking Fist, and chose the Piercing Fist evolution path.
• Lin Mo and the others fought the Rock Golems, with Ally using Frost Slash while Lin Mo practiced Grab.
• Lin Mo slaughtered all thirteen Rock Golems, maxed out Grab, and learned the evolved skill Assault Capture.

After defeating the Rock Golems, Lin Mo and his companions traveled deeper into Giantstone Mine to hunt Crystal Devouring Worms. On the way, Lin Mo tested Magic Light Piercing Kill on another Rock Golem, demonstrating its devastating piercing power.

• Lin Mo and the others collected 12 intact Rock Cores, returned to camp, and shared a meal made with ingredients from Lin Mo’s Ring of Space.
• Shefiliya privately worried about what the Nolun family knew about Phini, Lin Mo, and their relationship.
• The group set out for Area 3 to exterminate Crystal Devouring Worms, fighting monsters as they traveled through the mine.

Lin Mo and Deke’s party found the Crystal Devouring Worm nest, and Lin Mo accidentally killed its Level 8 mother body while blasting a passage underground. After the party defeated the remaining worms, they headed toward the middle level of Giantstone Mine and discovered the magic array that carried them down.

• Deke used Magic Crystal powder to locate the Crystal Devouring Worm nest, and Lin Mo blasted a deep passage through the ground with [Magic Light Piercing Kill].
• Lin Mo’s attack killed the Crystal Devouring Worm mother body, so his clone retrieved its venom sac and lured a worm upward to bring the sac back to the surface.
• Lin Mo and Deke’s party fought off the remaining worms, collected their venom sacs, and completed the extermination mission.
• Lin Mo’s [Spear of Blazing Fire] advanced from level 3 to level 5, and he chose the Sharp evolution path again.
• Deke’s party traveled to the end of Area 3 and rode a magic array down toward the middle level of Giantstone Mine.
