Background / History

Rita was rescued from a Honkai Beast by Ragna Lodbrok, then captain of Destiny’s Valkyrie Assault Squad. Ragna was wearing a maid outfit for social practice at the time, inspiring Rita’s lifelong attachment to maid work and attire. Rita later wrote to Ragna expressing her wish to become a Valkyrie, and Ragna provided a letter of recommendation. 73 215

At fifteen, Rita was training at Destiny headquarters. She reached A-Rank at sixteen and was ordered to protect the younger Bianka. Their initially formal partnership gradually became a close, sister-like bond. 73 75 259

After the Valkyrie Assault Squad was almost entirely killed in action, with Himeko as its sole known survivor, Rita continued to honor Ragna’s memory.
