Elisande wouldn't care about an outsider rogue being tracked by the huntress Saelin, only to inexplicably die under the claws of the Arcane Spider Mother Nalthara. She also wouldn't let such a minor issue bother Hu Feng.
Nine times out of ten, it was probably a spy or a thief. Ever since Suramar was called the holy city of magic, adventurers of all kinds had been flocking here, hoping to strike it rich. The ordinary Crystallized Mana in Suramar City could be resold outside for ten to a hundred times the profit. The cheap magic equipment from the Magic Corridors were considered priceless Noble Orange Gear in the outside world. Well... that's what humans called it anyway.
However, this allowed Elisande to discover Saelin's greatest use. So, she ordered Saelin to carry a large amount of Crystallized Mana whenever she went out on the streets or patrolled, and to hide her panther companion. Saelin was to appear as if she was weak but carrying immense wealth.
Elisande's tactic was truly wicked, and the adventurers who came from all over the world to strike gold suffered. Many adventurers who planned to make a big score and return home to marry and have children ended up failing to rob Saelin, only to fall victim to her poisonous hand, dying tragically under Saelin's inhumane kiting tactics.
This finally disturbed Hu Feng, who had been holed up and avoiding people since his return. He received the huntress Saelin with a pained expression, gave her a stern pep talk, and then watched as the motivated Saelin threw herself back into the great (sinister) cause of scamming and killing adventurers.
"Yo~ Father God, you said you were too busy to see me, yet you have time to meet a little huntress?" A hot-bodied, incredibly sexily dressed female Night Elf appeared behind Hu Feng out of nowhere. The delicate dragon horns on her head announced her identity.
Ysera had been quite happy lately. The other three Dragon Aspects were incredibly envious and jealous when they learned she had retrieved her essence. They also heard that as long as they did something that greatly contributed to the world, the Father God who resided in Suramar City would bestow the essence upon them again. For a time, the three Dragon Aspects eagerly awaited any villains who wanted to conquer or destroy the world, so they could rush forward and beat them up.
Unfortunately, fate, or rather, dragon fate, was not on their side. Azeroth had been incredibly peaceful lately. Aside from the daily power struggles within the Seven Human Kingdoms and Lordaeron's daily ambitions as a great nation, nothing significant had happened.
For some unknown reason, perhaps due to the surge of energy after her essence returned, Ysera wasn't sleeping. After patrolling the Emerald Dream, she ran to Suramar City. Everyone was already accustomed to the Dream Queen coming to see the Divine Emissary every day. Elisande could only offer a wry smile and let the Green Dragon Queen have her way. In the end, for the sake of convenience, she simply expanded a residence on top of the tallest Mage Tower in Suramar City and gave it to Ysera to live in.
"Ysera, don't you have anything else to do? I'm very busy, you know. This world is waiting for me to save it." Hu Feng looked helpless as he watched the Green Dragon Queen guzzle his Moonlight Wine.
Ysera shot Hu Feng a look. After spending some time together, she realized that this Father God had none of the arrogance of a Titan. His way of doing things and his communication style were more like a mortal's. Over time, Ysera also became more casual.
"I just want to stay by your side. Besides, you can order me to do anything, anything at all, anything~~" Ysera puffed out her ample chest, finding some enjoyment in teasing the Titan.
"I'm not that kind of Titan..." Hu Feng was desperately trying to maintain his Titan dignity.
"Father God, what strange things are you thinking about? I'm talking about official business, saving the world~ Why do you always think about that? Or perhaps... you actually want to do something with me?"
Ysera, holding a cup of Moonlight Wine, was once again driven out by a flustered Hu Feng. She shrugged, let out a few charming laughs, and then ran off to wander around the city.
Walking along the luxurious and beautiful streets of Suramar, Ysera felt refreshed. Her aesthetic sense leaned towards the elven style. Apart from the destroyed Night Elf capital Eldarath, she couldn't find another city as beautiful and magnificent as Suramar. However, what surprised Ysera was that Suramar City seemed to be getting new gadgets from time to time. For example, things like signposts, street names, and magic taxis were strange new additions.
She was currently on a wide avenue called Crystal Avenue, which led directly to Suramar City's newly planned vast commercial district. Ysera disliked dark places like the Magic Corridor, which felt like an underground black market. Bright and elegant commercial districts were her favorite. No matter the world, women had a crazy obsession with shopping, and Ysera, as the Green Dragon Queen and a wealthy woman, was extremely interested in the all-encompassing commercial district, which claimed to have everything in the world for sale.
In the small plaza in front of the commercial district stood a statue of Hu Feng. Not just here, but statues and posters of the Divine Emissary Hu Feng of various sizes could be seen everywhere in Suramar City. The entire city had a growing atmosphere of personal worship and fervor. Now, some rumors had also emerged within the Highborne, suggesting that the Divine Emissary Hu Feng was actually the earthly incarnation of the God of Magic Sargeras, an extension of the divine will. Even more subtly, the high-ranking members of the Council of Truth maintained a strange silence regarding these rumors, which further fueled the belief that Hu Feng was indeed a god.
A subtle change was the update to Suramar's emblem: a golden sun now enveloped the original Eye of Truth, radiating golden light like the dawn sun.
Ysera had also asked the Father God about this. His reply was that he wanted Suramar and the Highborne to maintain fervent cohesion, ideally entering a state of... well, Ysera couldn't understand it and didn't think about it further.
"Hmm? Lady Ysera?" A clear voice came from behind. Ysera turned and saw Elisande.
The two walked together along the tree-lined streets of the commercial district, and after browsing for a while, they sat on a bench and chatted idly.
"You were the Father God's first woman, weren't you?"
Elisande's face flushed slightly, which was rare. "Yes, Lady Ysera."
"I heard the Father God is also quite interested in that young ranger girl from Quel'Thalas."
"You mean Alleria Windrunner? It should be. Master also said he'll bring her over next time he goes."
Ysera seemed to become more animated, looking at Elisande. "So, this is a threat to you, isn't it? What if she comes and takes away all the Father God's favor?"
Elisande paused for a moment, then smiled. "I don't care about those things. As long as Master still likes me and considers me his companion, I am content."
Ysera switched to her persuasive mode, putting on an expression of concern. "How can that be? First come, first served is an eternal truth. You need to maintain your position as the primary consort, so..."
"So...?"
"So, Elisande, you need an ally! I think I'm a very suitable candidate, don't you think?"
"Ah?" Elisande's eyes widened as she looked at the Green Dragon Queen. "You want to be Master's companion too?"
"Yes, is that not allowed?"
Ysera tilted her head and blinked.
