The private alliance of the Night Elves, the humans of the Stormwind Kingdom, dwarves, and gnomes welcomed another new member.
After Quel'Thalas saw that the Night Elves had thrown themselves into the fray, built a port city in Westfall, and begun a desperate struggle against the orcs, Sun King Anasterian and the Silvermoon Council held lengthy meetings. After listening to the Ranger Corps' opinions, they finally decided to sign the alliance agreement. The High Elves officially joined the Alliance. First, they feared angering the Night Elves and the God of Magic behind them. Second, Divine Emissary Hu Feng had made the orc threat crystal clear in the letter enclosed with the agreement, along with several records containing scenes from the fierce battles between orcs and humans.

Stormwind City's docks had now become a military harbor, with weapons and supplies piled high as mountains before being shipped to battlefronts everywhere.
A High Elf fleet was slowly docking. Sylvanas stood at the bow of the lead ship and spotted the welcoming party on the pier
