Orgrim frowned as he stared at the front lines. These exploding ranged weapons the humans had suddenly deployed were causing far too many Orc casualties!
He had personally seen a Death Knight charge into the human position, only to be blown to pieces by a barrage of round iron balls hurled by the humans. This was the first Death Knight to die in battle. In the past, even when they fought Paladins to the death and could not win, they could still escape. But now, they had not even been given the chance to run. After a round of massive explosions, not even scraps of flesh remained.
The Orcs changed their strategy and began exchanging fire with the humans. The humans continuously bombarded the Orc positions with Rocket Launchers, while the Orcs relied on their formidable arm strength to fire torrents of arrows into the human lines.
"Where is Gul'dan? Where is he? The Horde needs the power of Warlocks now." Orgrim turned to ask Grom Hellscream, chieftain of the Warsong Clan.
"I don't know. He seems to have disappeared several days ago. The last report said he was headed for the Hillsbrad Foothills."
"That treacherous, dishonorable Warlock! We should have killed every last one of them!" Orgrim snarled.
But the bad news kept coming. Not long afterward, Teron Gorefiend and the Death Knights under his command also mysteriously disappeared. Enraged, Orgrim smashed several tables and chairs.
"Report! Great Chief! Bad news!"
"What now?" Orgrim and the other chieftains sat in the main tent, looking at the scout messenger.
"Teron Gorefiend led the Death Knights back through the Dark Portal to Draenor! He also ordered the Blood Ring Clan stationed there to close the Dark Portal according to the method Gul'dan left behind! The Blood Ring Clan returned with them
