"Do you submit or not?!"

A streak of Golden Divine Power slammed Skuglok viciously to the ground once more, sending him skidding far away and carving a deep trench in his wake. Soul Grinder let out a pained yet defiant howl.

The other eleven gronn lowered their enormous heads in terror, shifting about uneasily.

It had already been half a month. Every day during that time, Hu Feng had relentlessly beaten these twelve gronn.

Aside from Soul Grinder, the other gronn had already submitted. They ate their fill every day, their bodies brimming with strength, while their shackles and Fel torture had been removed. At first, after eating and drinking their fill, they immediately attacked Hu Feng, wanting to crush this ant-like human into dust. Yet instead of crushing him, they were beaten themselves. The eleven gronn were thoroughly taught a lesson—uh... taught how to be gronn.

Golden Divine Power sent them rolling endlessly across the ground. The agony that pierced deep into their souls made them rage and howl, until they finally began begging for mercy. One by one, they obediently followed this terrifying human's commands.

This was far better than using Fel to make them submit temporarily, then forcing them into action with chains. At the very least, these gronn now submitted willingly. More importantly, they could eat their fill every day! Under their father Gruul, their daily task had been to find food for Gruul, while they themselves could only eat half-full. Then they had fallen under the control of the orc warlocks, where things became even worse. Unless there was a war, they went hungry every day. How wonderful things were now—they could eat as much as they wanted every day.

But Soul Grinder was proud. Other than his terrifying father Gruul, he feared no one.
