Background / History

Boundary Beasts are destruction-aligned lifeforms bred in Qingfeng Realm’s Dim Land, which serves as their World Beast Nest. During their gestation stage, one billion are created; they instinctively slaughter and devour one another, with the final survivor becoming the World Beast King. Their emergence is treated as a Cosmic Sea-scale disaster capable of destroying Small Universes, Holy Land Universes, and the Primordial Universe itself. 655 761

The race considers Cosmic Sea lifeforms inferior food or potential servants. Boundary Beasts forced Hao Lei Star Lord, King Zhen Jia, and Qiu Yan Ancestor God into submission, using them to gather intelligence and lure prey into the Dim Land. 699 761

Lin Yan first infiltrates the Dim Land through the Primordial Emperor City and clashes with the peak First-Order Boundary Beast Yifeng. Although Yifeng’s World Beast Power nearly overwhelms Lin Yan’s divine-power supply, Lin Yan expends the power of nearly ten thousand Green Line Devouring Worm clones to shatter its Black Mist Cocoon. The incident alerts the entire Nest and draws Beidi’s attention. 658

Lin Yan later returns openly, kills multiple First-Order Boundary Beasts, wounds Second-Order Mohe, and escapes after slaying eleven Boundary Beasts in total. The attack becomes a race-wide humiliation and accelerates the Boundary Beasts’ evolutionary struggle. 743 744

Their invasion fails to overwhelm Lin Yan. He destroys a force of nearly five thousand outside True Master Shenyan’s Small Universe, uses Green Line Devouring Worm clones to resist a combined attack from more than 3.4 million Boundary Beasts, and deliberately pressures the race into sacrificing itself to create higher-order individuals. 795 800
