Yota fought threats across the DC and Marvel worlds while building alliances, gaining power, and intervening in conflicts involving superheroes and mutants. He left for Kamar-Taj with Wolverine, who sought to recover his lost memories.

Arc 13The Mother Box Crisis

Yota entered a DC world, helped Superman defeat Doomsday, and later joined Batman in investigating Parademon attacks. When Atlantis revealed that its Mother Box was fluctuating and could open a passage for Apokolips, Yota proposed checking the Mother Box on Paradise Island.

  • Yota helped Batman and Wonder Woman battle Doomsday, then transformed it into a piglet with Jusenkyo water and rewound it into General Zod with the Rewind Fruit.
  • Yota met Superman, Bruce, and Diana, gave them communication devices, and turned Batman into a bat before restoring him with hot water.
  • Yota used Kotoamatsukami on Luthor, searched his underground facility, and later absorbed Kryptonian genes, gaining strength from yellow sunlight.
  • Batman called Yota to Gotham after strange creatures appeared, and Yota identified a dead winged creature as a possible Parademon from Apokolips.

Arc 14Red Hulk Rising

Yota helped Earth repel Steppenwolf’s invasion, then moved to the Marvel world and gained influence over Kingpin and General Ross. He created Red Hulk and Abomination as he prepared a superhuman army, leaving Ross to confront the escaped Abomination.

  • Yota healed Diana with Marco’s Phoenix Fruit, then helped the Justice League fight Steppenwolf and the Parademons in Metropolis.
  • Yota killed Steppenwolf, and the surviving invaders retreated through the Boom Tube with Cyborg after the battle devastated Metropolis.
  • Yota traded with Batman for rare metals, gave Diana a Chakra Seed, and took the Mother Boxes to a parallel world.

Arc 15Dragon Bone and Mutants

Yota expanded his influence through Osborn Corporation and Kingpin while intervening in the Hulk, Iron Man, and Dragon Bone affairs. He ended the stretch by stopping Magneto’s machine from destroying the summit and reviving Magneto and Rogue, who had been left near death.

  • Green Goblin destroyed Yota’s laboratory, and a giant with a hundred arms emerged from the ruins before the military covered up the disaster and Kingpin joined Osborn Corporation’s board.
  • Yota boarded Reed’s spacecraft and absorbed most of the solar storm’s energy, then hired Bruce Banner and assigned him to work with Doctor Connors on the Super Soldier Serum.
  • Yota met Ancient One, who revealed that she wanted to travel beyond her world, and he agreed to take her to other worlds.
  • Yota secretly watched Tony Stark build the Mark I armor, rescued Banner from General Ross’s forces, and drained the Gamma Rays from Hulk before the Fantastic Four could stop him.
  • Yota helped Stark escape the terrorists, preserved the Mark I designs, and later captured Stark during his conflict with Kingpin, who told him about the New Element that could treat Stark’s palladium poisoning.

Arc 16Apocalypse and Lost Memories

Yota and the X-Men fought Apocalypse to rescue Professor X, and the battle ended with Magneto’s Brotherhood growing stronger. Yota then left for Kamar-Taj with Wolverine, who sought to recover his lost memories.

  • Yota helped Magneto regain his strength, but rejected his invitation to join the Brotherhood as Apocalypse attacked X-Academy and abducted Professor X.
  • Yota split Jean Grey into two and helped both versions gain limited control of the Phoenix Force before the X-Men and Brotherhood traveled to Cairo.
  • The Phoenixes broke through Apocalypse’s defenses, but the battle brought Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver into the conflict, and Yota’s lightning attack badly injured him.
  • Yota revived after sacrificing himself to wound Apocalypse, and the Phoenixes defeated their enemy while Jean Grey rescued people in Cairo.
  • Yota implanted a chip in Mister Sinister and sent him to research Mutants and the Sentinel Program before leaving for Kamar-Taj with Wolverine.
