• Wang Sen took over Steve’s body, endured the damaged system’s soul bombardments, and used the Illusion Fruit to entertain the Celestial Dragons before absorbing young Doflamingo’s soul and memories.
• Reborn as Doflamingo, he stayed in Mary Geoise to train under Bell, gave Devil Fruits to his family, then left them behind and sailed to join the Navy.
• Doflamingo defeated Three-Headed Hydra on the merchant voyage, absorbed his soul, and enlisted at the Water 7 Navy branch under the name Steve.

• Golden Lion was defeated at Navy Headquarters and imprisoned, but the Illusionary Clone helped him escape Impel Down and recruit powerful allies.
• Doflamingo accompanied Dragon to Roger’s execution, where Roger’s final words began the Great Pirate Era and Doflamingo planted a Soul Fragment in Buggy.
• Doflamingo discovered that CP0 had seized the Donquixote Family and a Poneglyph-like slab, then used Olvia’s dream to learn that the Poneglyph described the Celestial Dragons as sacrifices in a plan to remake the world.
• Doflamingo helped Olvia and Sauro escape, while Joker’s second personality in Buggy threatened Ohara’s scholars into compiling a Poneglyph dictionary before the Buster Call.
• During Ohara’s destruction, Olvia entrusted Robin to Sauro, Kuzan let Robin escape, and Joker disguised himself as Dr. Clover to get the dictionary and Poneglyph rubbings to the Navy.

Doflamingo rescued Dressrosa, then fought and recruited the Fire Dragon Sancho while monitoring the Beasts Pirates. As Sancho grew stronger and defeated King, Kaido and Golden Lion turned their attention toward the dangers gathering around Wano Country.
