History

Chen Haotian was an international mercenary and one of the Seven Lords of Hell, commanding the Nether Hall while operating Abyss Bar in West Port. Known in the West as Lucifer, Satan, and the Terminator, he built his reputation by personally cutting through a battlefield of thousands with a single claw. 406 422

He regarded Li Qingkuang as his most exceptional student and intervened when Li Qingkuang was endangered. Chen Haotian refused to commit his forces to a costly battle, attempted a fighting retreat, and was ultimately stopped by Shen Wuxiao and Yun Zhiyi. He was severely injured, while Yun Zhiyi inflicted a mutilating wound during the encounter. 406 407

While recovering in Huagang Village, Chen Haotian was aided by Ye Chen, Ye Qiu, and Ye Feng. Moved by their kindness and impressed by Ye Chen’s natural talent, he accepted all three as disciples, provided a beginner cultivation method, and later taught Ye Chen beginner Martial Skills. 408 409 413

Shen Wuxiao subsequently found Chen Haotian at his bar and repeatedly humiliated him, forcing him to publicly call himself an idiot and imposing an eight-hundred-million fine. Chen Haotian endured this treatment to protect his surviving subordinates, but the Nether Hall later suffered devastating casualties at Shen Wuxiao’s hands. 423 424 452

Seeking power and a way to rescue Ye Chen, Chen Haotian cultivated the Feiyun Jue supplied by Ye Chen. The method heightened his strength and altered his body and voice, enabling him to use the God-tier Makeup technique and female identities such as Yuna and Chen Mimi to approach Ye Chen without exposing himself. 452 459 461 486

Chen Haotian’s growing attachment to Ye Chen repeatedly diverted him from his plans against Shen Wuxiao. He protected Ye Chen from pursuers, pursued him after his abduction by a Martial King, and later fought entire groups of martial artists to shield him. 511 530 590 591

During the conflict engineered around Su Yang and Shen Wuxiao, Chen Haotian revealed to Ye Chen that Chen Mimi was his disguised identity. Although Ye Chen initially rejected him, the two reconciled and renewed their relationship. 562 575 576

After being taken to Shen Wuxiao’s private hospital while critically injured, Chen Haotian fought Shen Wuxiao’s forces in a final attempt to survive. Exhausted by repeated battles against Martial Marquis opponents, he was killed by the Judge’s Brush. Chen Haotian is pragmatic in battle. He avoids fights that would needlessly sacrifice his men, retreats when victory is impossible, and favors regrouping for a later counterattack over a reckless last stand. 406 449 459
