Senya, Naruto, and Minato stopped Mukade’s plan to exploit Rōran and its Dragon Vein, then Senya used the Dragon Vein to travel to the Warring States Period. There he infiltrated the Uchiha Clan and became caught up in a battle between the Uchiha and their enemies.

• Senya and Minato discovered that Naruto had traveled from the future, and Senya revealed that Obito would unleash the Nine-Tails on the day Naruto was born, killing Minato and Kushina.
• Senya and Naruto exposed Mukade’s puppets and rescued Rōran’s laborers, while Sarah learned that Anrokuzan had exploited her people and altered the Dragon Vein seal.
• Senya, Naruto, Minato, and Kurama defeated Anrokuzan, and Senya altered Naruto’s seal before Naruto returned to the future.
• Senya repaired the Dragon Vein altar, absorbed its Chakra, and traveled to the Warring States Period to seek an Uchiha girl whose Mangekyō might copy other Mangekyō abilities.

Senya rescued Hikari, trained her and Konan, and returned to his original timeline after years had passed. As Rōran and Konoha prepared for the Chunin Exams, Senya learned of Hiruko’s connection to a fragment of the Demonic Statue and Akatsuki began planning an attack on Konoha.

• Senya rescued Hikari from the battlefield, helped her reclaim her name, and took her away from Madara and Chiri before leaving Chiri scrolls containing powerful techniques and Mangekyō secrets.
• Senya and Hikari traveled to Rōran, absorbed the Dragon Vein’s Chakra, and Senya began copying Hikari’s Yachihoko despite the danger to his soul.
• Senya brought Hikari to the Land of Rain, where they found and cared for Konan, trained her for months, and promised to return before departing.
• Senya and Hikari returned to their original timeline, learned that more than three years had passed, and heard from Queen Tina that Rōran wanted to join the Chunin Exams.
• Senya returned to Konoha, reunited with Tsunade, and learned from Itachi that Hiruko had defected, joined Akatsuki, and stolen the Scroll of Seals.

Senya prepared Konoha to host the Chunin Exams and appointed examiners whose demanding tests challenged the visiting genin. As the Forest of Death teams clashed, Naruto brought the Jinchuriki together, and Hikari learned of a prophecy before the exam resumed with a battle between Kumogakure and Iwagakure.

• Senya arranged the Chunin Exam staff, gave Hayate a sword technique for the Gekko Clan, and recruited Anko, Shizune, and Kurenai as examiners.
• The village delegations arrived, and Senya welcomed the Kage before the Chunin Exams began.
• Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura passed Kurenai’s written exam, where Naruto’s resolve persuaded the candidates to stay for the bonus question.

Hikari dominated the second exam by taking and selling scrolls, while Naruto and the other genin passed and received their rewards. Obito’s assault brought Madara back into the war, where Senya battled him and began draining his Chakra as Madara summoned the Nine-Tails.

• Hikari fought Naruto and the other Jinchuriki, but their combined Tailed Beast Chakra let Naruto transform and withstand her Susanoo before she took their scrolls and returned them.
• Hikari gathered and sold scrolls from the Forest of Death, prompting examinees to trade goods or fight other teams to buy what they needed to pass.
• Eighteen teams passed the second exam, and Senya canceled the one-on-one matches when he sensed Obito approaching with reanimated ninjas.
• Obito attacked Konoha with Hiruko and reanimated Kage, while Senya and the village leaders joined the fight and Tsunade struck down Hiruko.
• Obito summoned Uchiha Madara, who confronted Senya and challenged him over Infinite Tsukuyomi and the future of the shinobi world.
• Senya and Madara fought with their Susanoo, and Senya marked Madara with Yachihoko before drawing him into a clash of gravitational powers.
