Xiao Yan travels with the soul of the alchemist Yao Chen, who resides in the ring on his finger and serves as his teacher. When they seek a Heavenly Flame, Ye Han intercepts them, overwhelms Xiao Yan, and threatens Yao Chen into surrendering the contents of his storage ring. 262 263
