• Ling Pengyun accepted the five-year assignment to guard a First Grade Middle Rank Spirit Vein and traveled to Azure Stone Mountain, where he killed five Snake Demons and planted six mu of Spirit Fields.
• Ling Pengyun tamed three Earth-Turning Earthworms, cultivated his crops, and helped Ling Ruguo and Ling Dong establish Azure Stone Village.
• Ling Pengyun captured a Yellow-Feathered Sparrow to protect his crops, then traveled to Cloud Mist Market for pills and supplies and killed two Ink Cloud Poisonous Snakes on his return.

Ling Pengyun helped secure the Mystic Water Iron Mine, studied weapon refinement, and developed his spirit fields while the Ling Clan exchanged ore for valuable inheritances. After surviving an attack by Shen Hu and a demonic cultivator, he returned to Azure Stone Mountain with new resources and a successful Azure Bamboo Sword refinement.

• Ling Yunhong promised Ling Pengyun a Foundation Establishment Pill if he reached Qi Training Completion before Ling Pengxing, then consulted the elders about the mine Ling Pengyun had found.
• Ling Yunhong and the clan elders agreed to trade part of the Mystic Water Iron Mine’s output to the Hundred Spirits Sect for cultivation and crafting inheritances, and Ling Ruxian stayed to guard the vein.
• Ling Ruxian gave Ling Pengyun the incomplete Earthly Fiend Sword Formation manual after learning that his divine sense could cover sixty-five zhang.
• Ling Yunhong exchanged fifty thousand jin of ore for four inheritances and mining puppets, then persuaded Ling Pengyun to study weapon refinement and gave him a six-month test.

Ling Pengyun expanded his cultivation and craft while building Fruit Bee Ridge and preparing for the Huai River Little Meet. He healed his Thorn Vine, acquired a Wind Shadow Peng egg, and returned to find the Ling Clan bound to new terms with the Yang Family.

• Ling Pengyun took control of the Fruit Flower Bee swarm, discovered the Spirit Mandarin Tree and Spirit Eye, and helped establish Fruit Bee Ridge as a protected cultivation site.
• Ling Pengyun advanced to the Qi Training Sixth Layer, refined Azure Bamboo Swords, and bought a Turtle Spirit Shield, Jade Hairpin, and Gathering Water Shoes at Cloud Mist Market.
• Ling Dong married Mo Qiunian, who later gave birth to a son, and Ling Ruguo attended the wedding before dying at age 112.

Ling Pengyun left Azure Stone Mountain after raising a Wind Shadow Peng and finding Ling Qiu’s spirit roots, then accepted the post at Lingyun Mountain. After surviving an ambush and reuniting with his father, he settled into his new duties and traveled with Ling Xiaoshun to the Yang Clan wedding feast.

• Ling Pengyun cared for his spirit fields and growing spirit beasts, bonded with the Wind Shadow Peng egg, and discovered a school of fish that could become Azure Moon Spirit Fish.
• Ling Penglin trapped four Blazing Fire Wolves in her formations, and Ling Pengyun and Ling Ruxian killed the Ghost Fiend Couple who ambushed them on the way to help her.
